    The plastic is still good you can get patches for it too! You kinda want to patch it or remove it before the wind gets it.. ask me how I know! Oh yes my greenhouse ithe the door open was crushed but the wind! Lol

      @JacobsonFamilyAllotment  Год назад +1

      Thanks I have took the plastic off for the time being for the reason you have said and the wind doesn't take it away. Thinking of just saying and getting a better one in the future

    Try growing toms outside, I got a great harvest a few years back from outside toms. If the weather was anything like last year you should do alright. Sorry that it broke it’s a real bummer! Chin up! 👍🏻🤠

    I have a glass greenhouse and an irate badger got in an argument with it and smashed loads of glass which then caused the panes above it to fall down. It took me an age to get it fixed as it took two of us and a lot of RUclips videos to work out how to do it. There will be a way for your greenhouse, maybe someone would give one away on freecycle? You can get polycarbonate or perspex for the windows to make it lighter and cheaper.

    • @JacobsonFamilyAllotment
      @JacobsonFamilyAllotment  Год назад

      Omg I know badgers were mean but not that bad. I would love a glass greenhouse think it will be my next big spend think I would be the same watching lots of RUclips videos on how to put it up.
      I have been looking on the FB pages for anyone giving one away or selling just no luck yet

    Is the tubing a smaller or bigger size. Than that of the inside or outside of a Steel Tube Mop Handle ? You could try re-enforcing the tubing. By sliding one type of tube inside or over that of the tunnel tubing.

      @@JacobsonFamilyAllotment Try building and putting some Wooden Trellis up all around it. To break the strength of the Wind. 2 feet away and that gives you some room to walk all around the outsides.

    Try and build your own, by saving the cover. If you can find someone giving away a kids trampoline, you can cut it in half use the half circles as the roof hoops and the sides make up rights. Because it’s got child safety rules the metal is far stronger in the trampolines. Anyway keep the cover. Another option to use are those poles they use in tents. If you can anchor them and use guy ropes. Even scrap timber you can find for free to help make a triangle frame you can nail the old cover to.

    • @JacobsonFamilyAllotment
      @JacobsonFamilyAllotment  Год назад +1

      Thanks. I have saved the cover got a few holes in it hopefully be fine
      I have a kids trampoline in the back garden might start eyeing that up kids wouldn't be happy tho😂.

      @@JacobsonFamilyAllotment you can get tape that can repair holes in poly tunnels. Best if you can borrow some. Walk round and see if you can see anyone with taped up holes on a tunnel. Be cheeky and ask if they have some you can have or buy a bit off of them.
