Hello!
So guess it's my turn :)
I've been watching Delena videos post finale for days without having the strength to start one on my own.
The truth is, that finale broke me...not only because it was an emotional trainwreck but also because it disappointed me. Deeply.
I'm not going to say everything again (if you follow me on twitter you probably saw my rant after the episode) but there are some things that i will never accept as canon and yeah, it's totally my opinion and it has to do with my perception of this ship since day one nothing more and that's also why I chose to do a video interely from Damon POV.
But of course i won't stick around for season 7, for what I'm concerned I fell asleep with Elena on May 14 to numb the pain. I will try to deal with my emotions sooner or later but for now i need time.
That's why I probably won't vid Damon and Elena again for awhile, don't get me wrong I don't think I could ever stop but i put my heart on this video and right now I'm just...empty. It still hurts so much and if it wasn't for the NEED to get rid of some raw emotions I probably wouldn't have had the guts to finish this...I cried from start to finish but this is probably the most real shit I've done so far.
Why this song? Well I'm not gonna lie and say it was the ONLY one that inspired me, before watching the finale I was planning a completely different thing but oh well.
Thank you all for your support throughout these years, I don't know when I'll be vidding them again but for now I really want to say that I am grateful for the amazing feedback and the wonderful comments in each and every one of my videos.
I want to dedicate this to Caro (_LightToMyDark) beause today is her birthday and because she owns a special place in my heart.

I love Stefan and Elena together. They were perfect, he changed her entire life. But Damon...He changed Elena. He always made her feel everything so deep, it was so intense, passionate. I really feel like they are each others person. People say they’re toxic, but I think they made each other better. Damon was the love of her life and Elena was his. Love this edit❤️

This is the first delena video I watch since the s06 finale because I don't feel ready to re-play those scenes. I'm not ready to let them go and it hurts just thinking about that. But it was YOUR video so I had to, because even with all the pain, I knew that it was going to be worth it. And guess what? IT WAS.

i totally agree with you about the finale. i thought i'm the only one who didn't like the DE ending, i'm glad i'm not. of course it could have been worse but i'm so empty that i even can't vid them, at least for now. and it's super sad because i've been vidding them for 4 years! i just can't find any inspiration right now, maybe someday we'll see. i totally feel you and kudos to you for delievering this *amazing tribute* ! I don't know how I'm going to be okay without them next season (probably LOADS of fanfics and RUclips videos). It's going to be a bumpy ride, and I'm seriously not ready for it.
You seriously just made a video that was ten times better than the whole season finale! The finale lacked so much this year, and despite the amazing DE dances scenes at the end, it could have been WAY more powerful! I was expecting some major speeches and maybe a proposal from Damon.... But, it wasn't just the Delena scenes, everything else could have been better too. I think the only thing I was really okay with was the goodbye scenes between Elena and Bonnie, and Elena and Stefan.
I don't know what I'm going to do without Delena videos from you next season, (or at all for that matter). I hope somehow you find a way to get inspired to vid them again soon! :)

I'm really sorry that you feel so hurt about the finale though. I think they should've made it a 2-hour-finale just so that it doesn't feel that rushed. but otherwise I liked it. or let me rephrase that: the only way Elena was gonna leave, was the way they made her do it. anything else would've just made me angry.
so ... well... I hope you'll vid them for years to come (you know selfish me just wants you to vid them forever...so I can enjoy every freaking second of it ^^), but I totally understand if you need a break. I'm still deciding if I continue watching the show myself (maybe I will just because of Stefan and Caroline).

Perfection!! I know what we can expect from the last season. Damon and Bonnie will have a simple relationship, a funny and cool romance until she die at the age of 70. When everyone in Elena's life is dead, Elena will wake up and Delena will be endgame.
