- Hi guys its Ric here , welcome to my channel TheClipperKing . I review mainly 1/6 scale figures or toys if you will :O) by companies such as Hot Toys , Enterbay , Blitzway and sometimes even custom pieces . I now have well over 500 uploaded videos on my channel so please be sure to have a good look around and please like , comment and subscribe to my channel but I should also warn you that many of my videos are not suitable for children and carry an 18 rating . I would also like to say that I try to remain brutally honest about the items I review and with my opinions in general .
The items I review and collect would include such things as movie versions of most of the latest Marvel films including .....Spiderman , X-Men Wolverine , The Avengers , Iron Man , Hulk , Thor , Captain America , Hawkeye , Black Widow and others .
Also DC Comic creations such as ...Batman , Superman , The Man Of Steel , Joker ,Bane and Catwoman .
Also other Sci-fi characters like Predator , Terminator , Robocop , Alien , Dredd , Star Wars .
And some other iconic movie characters like ...Godfather , Scarface , Indiana Jones , Darth Vader , Luke Skywalker , Rocky and Rambo .
And from the world of music the superstar Michael Jackson from Thriller , Bad , Billie Jean and Beat It .
NBA all time greats like Michael Jordan , Kobe Bryant , LeBron James , Derrick Rose and Blake Griffin
Although I don't yet have my holy grail figure which would be Muhammad Ali
Other reviewers I like and enjoy are Moggie215 , Deanknight333 , Neny Dee , Xenomorph , Ryno and many many more . We're not as big as the likes of SEAN LONG , ShartimusPrime and Optibotimus but we do try :O)

You may not be a huge fan of this Alien Warrior, but you gave me some awesome ideas on posing mine! I was kinda scared to try to move him... he was really stiff and looks so fragile!
The name of the ship in Aliens is The Sulaco.. Interestingly, 'Sulaco' is the fictional port where Joseph Conrad's 1904 novel, (wait for it), 'Nostromo' is set.

Hi Clipper, thanks for standing up for other Hot Toys collectors who pay top dollar for these items. They come with bugger all accessories these days and they charge what ever they like. Hot Toys make some of the coolest looking figures, it's a shame how they don't realise how big their fan base of collectors is and don't give a shit about their buyers/fans!!! Thanks for always being honest and not saying everything is perfect like other reviews!
just ordered this piece. Used a code for sideshow. got 50 bucks off. this video made me more excited for it. Im not one to do dramatic poses. So the lack of articulation never bothers me too much. Good review.

You have to give it to Hot Toys, it’s pretty amazing how they captured all of the coloring of this character. The alien warrior costumes were actually a brownish gold color, while the production lighting actually gave them the silverish blue color. And this figure captured all aspects of it, and you demonstrated it with the different lighting. Yea the articulation is limited, but this is a high quality figure you get into a generic pose and leave it for display. If you want more articulation while still having an accurate looking sculpt and paint app, go with the NECA 1/4 scale warrior. I have both.

Awesome figure for sure (appearance wise) the rubber suit scares the fuck out of me though. I've ordered this and I'm a little unsure about that order now.. damn. Looks nice though.
You found a great pose there. I'm just not sure about getting this figure either. Great review. The chipmunk voice part was pretty funny too... Like we were watching another Clipper King copy cats channel lmfao

I bought two of the NECA 22" Aliens when they first came out and their still AMAZING. Articulation is eeeeeh but their just Gorgeous..

I love both together.
I agree with the lack of ingenuity (posability/articulation) in some of the Hot Toys. I wish they had made the Terminator EXO Skeleton detachable from its waist to have a crawling one!
Hey ClipperKing, the reason the articulation is so limited is because it is a copy of the original Alien Big Chap figure from many years ago. They were too cheap/lazy to come up with a new design; in fact they stole the same base (same colour too!) but added a holder to it. Its a beautiful figure but really I see it as more of a reapaint with some new sculpting features.
I just picked one up here in Canada. I will not do a review as this is the best review I have ever watched. I 100% Agree!!!!! I love all the colors and unbelievable details and it will be treasured.... but the articulations are the worst I have ever witnessed. This is an Alien warrior and not my Robocop figure. I give you 6 out of 5 points for this honest review.
