He was also on LSD when he was chillin under that peach tree.
Another fun fact about the song is that Chris actually got the line "Movin to the country, gonna eat a lot of Peaches" and the melody of it from a homeless crackhead he passed in the street that was singing it to himself over and over. That's what reminded him of the day he was tripping under the peach tree and what made him write the song.

And now this dude is happy as a clam playing for children as Caspar Babypants.
Stompy The Bear, Stump Hotel, My Flea Has Dogs, … all sorts of fun stuff aimed at young tykes!

The singer even says "dream about you woman", and put a finger inside.... I always thought that was more about that woman than the peaches....

I'm seriously questioning why I loved that song so much in high school! 😆😆😆

What an obscure and enjoyable song selection! I forgot that band existed. They had a few interesting songs. Never took them especially seriously as a band, but they were amusing in small doses. "Kitty" (caution lyric language) is another amusing song by this band.

    Prince - Peach
This will answer the question "was this song made before bottoms were referred to as peaches?".
    Also, it just simply rocks.

I started working for my dad in his carpet shop in a dead ass strip mall in a small town in Johannesburg in 1996 and all I had to keep me from going insane was a little radio at my desk...I sat there from 1996 to 1999 when we moved into a much busier mall in the town, I now have a playlist of over 800 tracks that I call my "Carpet Shop Classics", the best era, in my opinion, for music...

Check out their other songs, Bath Of Fire, Twig, and Poor Little Me. Awesome band. One plays three string guitar, other one plays two string guitar, and drummer uses half the drum set. They still ROCK!!!

hahah I remember when this came out. We used 3.5in disks from AOL to get on the internet so you could... chat with other people on AOL. That was basically it. IRC servers, ICQ chat, telnet talkers... there were no emojis. ":)" was a thing in some circles. 100% text chat, no images. It would take like 10 minutes to download an image that didn't look like something out of a retro video game. We were using VHS when this came out, and only myself and one other person I knew had computers in their home.

This band was inspired by the band Morphine. The singers of each band use to be roommates. Morphine has a drummer with a small drum kit, a baritone sax, and the singer plays a slide 2 string bass. That's it. They wanted to challenge their creativity by limiting their capabilities. It made for a great unique sound. The singer unfortunately died on stage of a heart attack in Spain, I believe. So I suggest Honey White by Morphine.
