Back in the early 2000s my younger brother had a band called homeroom that opened for the presidents . His band didn't go far .. but he was excited to open for a relatively well known band back then in his college days in georgia .
The story I heard is that he passed a bum on the street singing to himself the line "Millions of peaches, peaches for me. Millions of peaches, peaches for free." as if he just found a dumpster full of peaches. It got stuck in the singer's head so he had to write a song to get it out.
Brad is right with the peaches analogy...exactly what they were singing about. Yeh never look into any of their songs too deeply hey, it's all just fun. Some great tunes too, do 'Lump'!!!

man. i grew up listening to these guys anytime my dad was in charge of the stereo. I was way too young to understand any of the innuendos, but I loved it regardless. I found out much later that part of the reason why my parents listened to them so much... was because they were actually close friends with the singer, Chris Ballew! One of their songs, "Vestina", is about my mom's best friend, whom he was madly in love with at the time. He even came to her wedding, and reserved VIP tickets for her at every show, right up until they quit. My sister accepted one of them once and went to see them :)
