    you can also try to put the Z21 in loconet slave mode and connect it to loconet to the ecos

      Thanks I am not sure what locket mode is, p.s do you know how to control M4 enabled chips on the Z21 I cannot get my Marklin chips to work on the Z21 even thow it's enabled on the Z21 . Thanks Jim.

      If I read it correctly you need to buy cable 136100 from roco then you need to go in the setting of the Z21 en put the Z21 in loconet slave mode. Then connect the Z21 to the loconet converter than it must working
      You need that special cable (a 4 pins phone cable works as well) but a normal loconet cable has 6 pins and the 2 on de outside may not connect Becouse you power both devices separately.

      ​​​​@@rico65960Thanks for the information, I have a Ecos loconet converter in use under the baseboard , I use that for the Fleischmann Profi boss so the Z21 should connect that way as you say also...
      Never thought about that way..👍🏻

      Than as you buy that cable 136100 than you can try it . The Z21 is on my wanted list for a long time . The loconet converter have I already . I use it whit the older multizentrale pro from roco
