It's way easier to care about something if you know about it, and this narration, couch commentary, whatever it's called, was really good. Helped me to understand, and thus care more and appreciate all the skill.
The commentators are great! They are such an essential part of every speedrun, specially for audiences not familiar with the game. Great job runners and couch!!
I'm about a year late, but I would like to personally apologize for the late timer. It's a bit hard to know when to start the timer for a game you don't know anything about when the runners don't say start!
Is the game really that short?! I know these are super skilled players going through it fast as possible, but there were only like four stages and four bosses!
Sunsoft was one of the best game companies, if there were, say just 2 more levels this game would be a gem. It's still pretty awesome, just like Gremlins 2, only 5 areas though.
i'm not usually one to complain about things like this but only 1/3 of the video was what's mentioned in the title i know there are people who watch the other parts but couldn't they be separated into their own video or something?
Chris Combs from what I understand everything goes in youtube they simply cut it at the end of every run and it starts the next video ... should be glad for not having tech problems this time
I am, i have been wathing there videos for a while and i already know to look in the commnets first for a time stamp, or just start fast fwd its supper anyoing GDQ!!!!!!!!!!!!! This might sound harsh but i think they mainly do it for view time, and to keep the videos at 10 min or above so they get paid.

Crazy seeing the precision most speedrunners have to finish that close and be that consistent with each other the entire run. Crazy to watch.

it takes time to edit the videos, so they upload like that, it's easier and faster for em, you can usualy find the timer in a comment

obvious_humor they started the timer late. The couch/runner who ever didn’t do a countdown so they just added time to adjust.
