Dear student, It's really confusing. According to traditional English grammar, it's a compound sentence, because "that gives correct time" is in continuative sense. We can use "and it" in place of that. I have a watch, and it gives correct time. ( Compound ) So please don't get confused, and write the sentence as under. A watch that I have gives correct time.(Complex )
your teaching method is very good thanku sirji . I have a doubt. Please sir solve it...... You gave me a watch. I have lost it. The watch that you gave me was lost. The thief stole my bike. He is now in prison. The thief who stole my bike is now in prison. Ye dono sentence sahi hai ya kisi aur type se bhi ban sakye hai. He works hard. He must pass. Combine using Adjective clause please sir
The sentence "The pen which is mine is on the table" is grammatically correct, but it can be improved for clarity and naturalness. Typically, "that" is used in restrictive clauses in American English, so "The pen that is mine is on the table" would be more natural.
@@englishguruamansirSir... Please reply 😐 adjective clause use karke complex sentence banana ho. to kya ye sahi nahi mana jaayega... I was the first that heard the news. Dear boy In competitive exams in India, where grammar rules are strictly assessed, using "that" instead of "who" in the sentence "I was the first that heard the news" could be considered incorrect. Examiners generally expect precise use of relative pronouns: "Who" is used for people. "That" is used for things or groups. So, it would be safer to use "who" in this context.

Sir,
Direct 'you' ke baad noun likhna sahi hai? Jaise: You gaurav, come here.
Agar sahi hai to iska Hindi meaning kya hoga.
In spoken English, we use these types of Nominative addresses, when addressing someone special in a group.
