I was going to say my favorite was the random rainwing, but I loved sunny and the happy seawing. I don’t have much experience on expressions so this really helped me get an idea of what to do with the eyes and body language.

Never give up! It took YEARS for Cyprus to get this good! It took me 4 years of dragon drawing, and 2 years of reading wof to get to my stage of drawing.
I love the way you draw horns. They always keep their shapes when you rotate the head, and I think that's awesome. I have trouble drawing horns from different angles.
I'd guess Kinkajou being sad like that when Moon told her that she had mind reading.... (maybe) I think it would be PERFECT for when Tamarin was brought out from the fire in the history cave in Moons book. I also think the angry Skywing kinda looks like Flame before he got his scar! Loved this cool art! My favorite was the Sunny one too! She just looked so cute and adorable! All of them are 10/10 :D My second favorite was the cute little Seawing! In third is the confused little Rainwing. Its just so amazing :o The expression with the frills was my favorite part about the rainwing! The sketchy and cartoony look to them is so cuteeee! Cyprus is so good at digital drawing, even her sketches are perfect!!! Keep up the good work! My favorites are Tsunami with her trademark look, Sunny blushing really hard (I imagine this is how she would look if she ever bumped into Starflight at the school, face to face)
My best guess as to why shading more of the face of a character makes them seem angry is that we generally connect darker colors to a negative feeling, so by shading more of the part of the character you're likely looking at the most makes them seem more on the negative side of emotion.

Want to look at BEAUTIFUL expressions, look at some Studio Ghibli stuff, I love how when a character gets mad, excited, are feels any really strong emotion, the hair puffs up to further the expression, I love Studio Ghibli and the little art things can be applied to almost anything

I think Kinkajou was just told about Moon's powers and after she ran away to be alone, she started thinking about how she wasn't a good enough friend. That's the moment she looked up with tear filled eyes. Or she just found out who her parents were and they told her that they did want her and they wanted to be a family. She finds out her parents were the only Rain Wing couple who stayed together.

I'm making a graphic novel on WOF, and I have a Skywing named Sunset (change it???) and he's actual really up-beat most of the time, and the ticked off Skywing made me think of someone harassing's his boyfriend, Ahko the Sandwing; hence him making that face.
I can imagine that kinkajou made that face when she found out Moon had been keeping her mind reading powers a secret from her. It looks very Accurate and betrayed!

For expressions I like drawing icewings and silkwing as I use the head spikes of icewings and the antenna of silkwings to show emotion.
