The End of Humanity - Good and Evil, True and False Narratives (Sarah Spiekermann) | DLD 24

In this thought-provoking DLD24 talk, Sarah Spiekermann (University of Vienna) questions the common narrative that AI will eventually surpass and replace humans.
Spiekermann - a prominent figure in the field of business informatics and digital ethics - is particularly critical of authors like Yuval Noah Harari and Nick Bostrom who, in her view, promote the idea that humans are irrational and limited, while AI keeps improving, and will soon be much more capable than humans.
At the beginning of her talk, Spiekermann shows a video clip from the upcoming documentary “The End of Humanity”, which she co-produced.
