Before I explain my method know this.. the helicopter is pretty much impossible to get out of my garage (the tail gets stuck inside and breaks off every time I leave) and when I get the mechanic to "drop it off" he just flies off with it or crashes it.. might need to be in a REALLY open area as I did manage to get it from him once in a large field after chasing it for a while. To get the helicopter in the garage however, its best to smash the door off then park the helicopter as close as you can. Then use a car to nudge it closer, I actually wedged a car underneath it so it was tilted right up against the door and then got in the passenger side and it glitched in. Oh and to claim on insurance is $25,000 each time so the mechanic crashing it or flying off kind of sucks! None the less it's something to do, now I've done everything else online 100 times. Good advice. If you call the mechanic and can see him in the helicopter, just start a mission or job and the helicopter will spawn with you during the mission and after. That's what I do. And yeah, it's not coming out of the garage intact.

Jk I was wrong lol, I didn't angle the chopper to the right enough. For those having trouble breaking the door off, just tap the open door button then hold back on your left thumbstick so you run away with the door open. Then drive into the open door. Just wishing I didn't level up so fast so I could still spawn the cargobob at helipads so I could steal a tank and store one of those. Thanks man!
It took me on the sixth helicopter to get it in. I found a trick that worked for me and hopefully works for you. So following these steps, when you try to setup the helicopter diagonally, if it is right outside the garage door but the buzzard isn't going in how you have it diagonally, get a car and keep bumping into the buzzard so it can be positioned diagonally. When I went in the buzzard and didn't go inside the garage, I tried again but before I did, I used a car to ram into the buzzard to make it more diagonally and tried again and got it in. Hopefully this tip may help you guys.
no, if your garage isnt full it will just show you a scene of the helicopter hovering outside the garage, then after 5 secs it will teleport you inside your garage with the helicopter being there
man i wish that R* games in the next update will allow you to have an additional garage excluding your apartment , because man with this huge collection of cars to own you just want to keep loads of them !!
sometimes that happens, blow it up and ring him again he should land it just makes sure when you hang up the call walk about 10 feet away from that spot so the chopper has enough room to land without crushing you because he wont land if your in the way
oh yeah, your mechanic can bring it to you, but he might take off as he appears, so go to the store real quick then back out and it should spawn in front of you
yeah the jet is hard to do due its weakness you can hit as little as three lampposts and have it die, i took me hours to get the jet insured and in my garage but i have the 400k apartment and have no trouble getting it out of that garage at all. even so just drive a couple hundred yards down the road and call your mechanic, he drives it up the road like a car it hilarious ahaha
Lazer jet next im guessing, there's a way that works the same for every single vehicle in the game, you'll find out soon, its not on youtube yet though. also you'll be glad to hear there's a property dupe glitch, weve got 20 vehicle garages!!!! sorry to troll but i know they'll be on here in the near future, keep an eye out kronos theyll be on you tube V soon
The buzzard in the garage is just bragging rights if you call the mechanic he spins in circles and never lands it. If it gets blown up the insurance is 25k and the buzzard is fragile. With most garages trying to get out of the garage with the buzzard will end with you blowing up and dying. The tank and the jet are worth it though.
Does your mechanic deliver the buzzard to you if you call him? Regardless, great video. Much better of an explanation than some of the other ones out there.

1.05 CONFIRMED WORKING AS SAID BY SOMEONE IN ANOTHER VIDEO "I figured it out. You have to time it right. You need to use the aiming trick to walk backwards into the area that would normally trigger the "entering garage" animation, then walk towards the garage without holding aim, then hit Y... the trick is that if you get in, then get out, that means you need to be a bit further from the buzzard's door. If you do the "stuck in he door" animation, you need to be a bit closer. Think of it as trying to get the two animations to overlap in time."

im gonna do it now again because i have the tank,helicopter the alien car and trevers track and some fast cars all i need now is the snow car and the jet and i bought the 400k apartment so it will be easier
It must have been patched or something. Did everything just as the video said at the same apartment too and when I hit Y and hold aim down he starts to get in the heli then it just shows him walking into the garage with the heli still sitting there. Thanks anyways though!
I still have mine after the patch,I just cant ever enter my garage or it will take it away I think. Or something where you have to blow it up everytime and get from mors mutual insurance when you want it. But everything still works for me can call my mechanic and get delivered and its their every mission,keeps giving me personal vehicle destroyed message even though its not. My best advice to anyone just in case a new method after last patch arises to insure and get restricted vehicles into garage,is set respawn location on last location and leave it like that,this way if it gets patched again you wont respawn in garage/apt. and lose it. You'll be stuck with buzzard but screw it,its one of best vehicles in game.

This last update 1.07"( that added the creator mode) just took my buzzard away for good,it vanished wasnt at mors mutual or in mechanic list,oh well was good while it lasted. They really need to stop patching every little thing,some glitches make a game funner. I can see if it was negatively effecting the game in some way,but wtf,they even did away with the hat and mask glitch.

It took me about 20 helicopters and an hour and 20 minutes of work to get the Buzzard into my garage :)

Hey kronos,theres a ghost eatser egg online,i seen 1 in my 200,000house in the garage while looking through the security camera around 11:something.
i use the chopper to go under the map...then i fly to the middle where you can find players in any garage and then i shoot them in there.
the real question is... can i just find a adder driving around and do the same exact steps
im gonna do it now again because i have the tank,helicopter the alien car and trevers track and some fast cars all i need now is the snow car and the jet and i bought the 400k apartment so it will be easier

Com Thompson it's level 43 and it only spawns at the airport and Trevor's airport not the helipad
It is possible to save a jet but it is extremely hard to land it in the city.
