The best thing about Andy and April's relationship was once they became a couple and got married there was no break up drama, no sleeping with other people, no bs you see on a lot of other shows. Once they said those vows they were true to each other.
Yes. She's usually doing her random awkward chick routine, no matter where she is. It's funny but sometimes it's frustrating. When she gets uncomfortable here and starts fidgeting because she doesn't want to cry - and then does anyway - it's very endearing. I think she trusts Chris and she felt safe being herself here.

I think they fell in love on the show and if chris wasnt married Aubrey woukdve never got with who she gor with that woukdve been dope if they got together in real life.. dont get me wrong id love her to be with me but theyre chemistry was undeniable
My favourite Andy and April moment is when Andy says "Chris is a food genius! Did you know that the food you eat becomes energy?" Kicks and punches the air a bit "boom, spaghetti. Nachos. Thats a cookie" And April just smiles and goes "thats my husband"
Usually when two people get together on a show or a book or something, it's not interesting anymore. Then the creators have to make problems or a love triangle or something to keep it interesting, and when they run out of ideas the show or book ends. But when April and Andy got togehter it just started being better and better only because you can see how madly in love they are with each other in their own kind of weird and super cute way.
+Sorbet I agree with you. It's perfect proof that as long you love, trust, and are loyal, the rest doesn't matter. Aubrey and Chris could of played any character personality and have made it work based of that. I would love to get a chance to know Aubrey. She seems like an amazing person.

FreakDaMIghet WATCH IT!!!! The first season is the worst one, (not to say that it is bad), but it gets SOOOO much better after that, so don't stop watching because of that.
Sometimes I thought that Andy’s and April’s love was so powerful and real, that I couldn’t understand how Chris and Aubrey didn’t fall for eachother outside of Parks and Rec
I love those moments where April kind of can't stop herself from breaking out of her act of trying to appear as cold and stuff, and she gets all bashful. Like the bit to the camera after she and Andy start going out where she's just smiling and walks off all embarrassed and happy like "Go away!". It's always incredibly sweet. These two are great. I love that they stuck together through the rest of the show once they finally got together.
If your heart doesn't melt watching the interaction starting at 5:40 you have no soul. Plaza starting to lose it and Pratt putting his arm around her to support her without even saying a word... TEARS.
Makaveli _Hun In this video? Well yeah they are on the set for Parks and Rec, and they are in costume. And her character April is married to Pratt's character Andy.
Matt Ramos Lily* :P and yea my top 3 couples (1 per show) would be 1.April and Andy (Parks and Rec) 2.Monica and Chandler (Friends) 3.Marshall and Lily (HIMYM)
+A Person... No. It's Monica and Chandler. Polar opposites and they were BFF's and got involved. When Chandler said he loves Monica my stomach had butterflies. Those two were Tops. What I liked about Andy and April was the authenticity they put in, into how couples in real life are (when they are in love). I found it cute with all the couples. They would stand there hold hands, hug say "babe", "babes" or "baby". That's cute. I like that.
It's very touching to see actors becoming such genuine friends, I could see how emotionally invested they are in their characters and onscreen relationship and how that carries over to their own lives; like how Chris didn't hesitate to comfort Aubrey when he sensed she was affected by the subject being discussed - Real.
they both started as side characters but became very dear to all parks fans, not only as silly singular characters but through their ridiculously adorable but at the same time crazy mismatched relationship.
5:40 - I thought this was such a sweet moment between these two. Chris starts talking about how they're gonna miss each other, and you can see Aubrey doing that whole stretching thing which is pretty much just a way to try and not cry, I think. When she does it a second time, Chris realizes she's getting teary-eyed and puts his arm around her to console her. These two definitely had a chemistry between them :)
The whole interview you can tell Aubrey is trying her hardest not to break down but the second Chris says they’ll miss each other she losses it. And I almost cried😭😭😭
I know this clip is 8 years old, but I still love when it comes up. That moment at 5:40 when Chris beautifully articulates why the show will live on for the fans but will be different for the actors because "that's not where we enjoy the show" while clearly reading Aubrey's reaction and putting an arm around her. These two were close, more than just the on-screen relationship, that was a proper loving gesture for a friend right there
i absolutely lost it when aubrey started crying. i don't think anyone understands how much i truly mean it when i say that this show ending is absolutely breaking my heart :'( every single episode so far this last season has made me cry.
The way Chris just in the middle of giving a sincere, heartfelt answer can see without looking that Aubrey’s starting to get choked up... and he makes no scene or draws attention to it. Just with one arm he lets her know he’s right there with her.
these guys are my favorite TV couple ever. I actually strive to have that kind of love, friendship and playfulness with my wife. She us my best friend and every time i get her to look at me the same way that Aubrey looks at Chris I get so happy.
You two are my favorite character, guys. Thank you for brightening up my days. My father was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer last year, and after 12 rounds of chemo was in remission for 2 months before the tumor came back. He is now is treatment again, and I have taken time off from my life-husband, kids, etc-in Georgia to come home to Colorado to help my mother take care of him. He is my whole world and the most amazing person ever. If it wasn’t for you guys, I would literally cry every minute of every day. But, I put my AirPods in one ear at a time, and put on Netflix on my phone, and listen to Parks and Rec on repeat, all day every day. The jokes never get old, especially the physical humor and line delivery of Pratt and Plaza. So, thank you for making this time of my life, which will be my most difficult ever, so much more bearable, and filled with so much more laughter than it would have been. ❤️
This got me a little emotional. It just hit me how much I'm gonna miss these two. April and Andy are one of my all-time favorite TV couples. Ironically, when the show started, I actually kinda hated April because of her cold and indifferent attitude. Come to think of it, I was also ambivalent towards Andy, who initially came across as a bit selfish before his sweet nature became more apparent. But the relationship between those two characters became one of the most richly satisfying parts of the show for me, especially seeing how it helped April to mature and grow into a more caring person.
oh my God... i'm crying. Aubrey tearing mp made it even worse. every time i think i've gotten used to the fact that it's ending, i see one of those behind the scenes clips and we get a glimpse about what goes on behind the cameras which looks as entertaining and heartwarming as the show itself, if not even more, and i get even more emotional about it. it's not just the show that's ending, it's the beautiful world behind it that is extremely evident in all the aspects of the show.
Wow April looked so young in those clips!! Wow she's sure grown up a lot... not only in character development... but everything. That plus Aubrey crying made me so emotional. I'm going to miss this so much.
7:26 I am up for that spin-off. BTW I started watching this because I have been watching Aubrey Plaza in "The White Lotus". She plays a great role and I hadn't seen anything else with her so I have been watching Parks and Recreation constantly in the last couple of weeks. April and Andy are a great couple and they are the best two characters on the show. Plaza and Pratt did great jobs and I want a woman that looks at me like April looks at Andy.
I love that she's doing these awkward stretches not to cry her eyes out.
30RockChannel i feel that on a spiritual level, lol. "trying not to cry? no, no. i was just yawning."

April trying to hide how happy she was in that "i don't like labels" bit was adorable lol
I am in no way emotionally ready for this show to end.
Chelsea England get oofed
yikes
Aww, that Chris picks up that she's about to cry with a single look. That's chemistry you can't buy.
I've never actually seen Parks and Recreation, but this kinda makes me want to see it.
FreakDaMIghet watch it you will not regret it. i watched it last week and am rewatching it now.
FreakDaMIghet WATCH IT!!!! The first season is the worst one, (not to say that it is bad), but it gets SOOOO much better after that, so don't stop watching because of that.
K Parker WATCH! Just start with season 2
FreakDaMIghet i just watched 4 seasons in 3 days :S ITS SO AWESOME.
FreakDaMIghet Watch it
Now
"You come into the show knowing it will end"
Greys Anatomy:
Am I a joke to you?
The Simpsons
Days of Our Lives
South Park.
the simpsons has GOTTA end at some point though, maybe
General Hospital (still going since the 70s)
How can you act being in love with aubrey and not actually fall in love.. she is amazing
Sometimes I thought that Andy’s and April’s love was so powerful and real, that I couldn’t understand how Chris and Aubrey didn’t fall for eachother outside of Parks and Rec
Who knows. Probably they were, but they kept in secret
@@Colo1994 I like to think that even if I know its extremely unlikely
Well their characters are sort of them. I'd assume on some level they felt some real feelings
u know they smashed all the time in the trailer. and probably blazed some sticky icky oowee
Because Chris Pratt was married then
I love those moments where April kind of can't stop herself from breaking out of her act of trying to appear as cold and stuff, and she gets all bashful. Like the bit to the camera after she and Andy start going out where she's just smiling and walks off all embarrassed and happy like "Go away!". It's always incredibly sweet. These two are great. I love that they stuck together through the rest of the show once they finally got together.
When she started crying I started crying.
4 Years later and I'm still depressed the show ended.... Yay!
5 years later
6 years later
7 years later
76 years later
If your heart doesn't melt watching the interaction starting at 5:40 you have no soul. Plaza starting to lose it and Pratt putting his arm around her to support her without even saying a word... TEARS.
she looks in love with him for real...
+Robert Goss She totally fell in love with Chris, but then again, who wouldn't?
+Robert Goss shes married..
Makaveli _Hun I am fairy certain she isn't.
MegaBZerK ( ͡o ͜ʖ ͡o) well she has a ring
Makaveli _Hun In this video? Well yeah they are on the set for Parks and Rec, and they are in costume. And her character April is married to Pratt's character Andy.
Andy And April needs to be a real show now that parks and rec is over
I think Chris has other stuff he's working on rn
+Kai.Hman he's fuckin starlord lmao
***** starlord, man.. legendary outlaw?.. forget it
they did say they got a green light from NBC so it'll happen. just gotta wait long since both seem to be busy with films.
@@Sea_ba55 I doubt he'd come back for that. He is a hot shot now
Sorry jim and pam, but andy and April have you beat.
Stephen Richter Marshall and lilly come in the top 3 couples as well
Matt Ramos Lily* :P and yea my top 3 couples (1 per show) would be
1.April and Andy (Parks and Rec)
2.Monica and Chandler (Friends)
3.Marshall and Lily (HIMYM)
Never. NEVER
+A Person...
Stephen Richter False, Dwight beats all.
It's very touching to see actors becoming such genuine friends, I could see how emotionally invested they are in their characters and onscreen relationship and how that carries over to their own lives; like how Chris didn't hesitate to comfort Aubrey when he sensed she was affected by the subject being discussed - Real.
The Parks and Rec Special really did some interesting things to the RUclips algorithm
they both started as side characters but became very dear to all parks fans, not only as silly singular characters but through their ridiculously adorable but at the same time crazy mismatched relationship.
These two were close, more than just the on-screen relationship, that was a proper loving gesture for a friend right there
6:38 this was one of the sweetest scenes with Andy and April. Truly a fantastic show.
i absolutely lost it when aubrey started crying. i don't think anyone understands how much i truly mean it when i say that this show ending is absolutely breaking my heart :'( every single episode so far this last season has made me cry.
Aubrey's face at 5:42 is heartbreaking
Fr
I almost cried
Honesty. Without guile. Defenses crumbled.
AUBREY MADE ME CRY LIKE A BABY! They're adorable!
The way Chris just in the middle of giving a sincere, heartfelt answer can see without looking that Aubrey’s starting to get choked up... and he makes no scene or draws attention to it. Just with one arm he lets her know he’s right there with her.
i love Aubrey's smile so much. also their characters have so much chemistry it's crazy
Man, these actors did well together. I'm glad the show captured that.
And no, they did NOT fool around behind the scenes. you guys are weird.
Chris Pratt drops the feels hard at 5:40 So heart breaking, Aubry Plaza tears up!
these guys are my favorite TV couple ever. I actually strive to have that kind of love, friendship and playfulness with my wife. She us my best friend and every time i get her to look at me the same way that Aubrey looks at Chris I get so happy.
Aubrey trying to stop herself from crying and chris comforting her is everything!
I love how Aubrey seems exactly the same as April in real life 😂
This got me a little emotional.
This is probs the most emotion Aubrey has shown that I’ve seen
When Chris said "we're gonna miss each other" Aubrey automatically broke down. Love this two. They ARE their characters
Man, when Aubrey loses compsure at 5:41 and Chris being a bro and comforting her. Super genuine.
Aubrey Plaza has got to be one of my favorite not only actor, but person. She is just so...adorable.
Wow April looked so young in those clips!! Wow she's sure grown up a lot... not only in character development... but everything.
That plus Aubrey crying made me so emotional. I'm going to miss this so much.
One of the greatest shows of all time: writing, acting, the whole quirky ensemble of characters. Even the minor characters. Stop looking at me, Oren.
