  • Emergence is an incredible phenomenon. Sometimes, in science, some properties or behaviors of a system seem to appear out of thin air, as their not caused by any given component of the system.
A similar thing happens in human brains, and in nature, all around us.
Please sweet God let this video make more than 300 views I worked on it for weeks please.

humans are not base10, there have been many different bases used by humans through history. Check it out. Still a fun and informative video

Damn you're absolutely right. It seems like a lot of civilizations throughout history used many different systems (e.g. the Babylonians used the sexagesimal system, base 60!)
      Thanks for catching that!

@@pointless_knowledge I would love to know why they did, it some cases it was simply from using fingers to track the count in different ways. Such as one hand to count and the other to track. Or using knuckles not whole fingers

Great video, I wasn’t going to comment till I saw the number of views. The production value seemed like something you’d see from a channel with a couple hundred thousand or million subs. You have a knack for this, keep going!

While this is a very compelling video, I feel the title was a bit misleading

Thanks for the suggestion, I'll think about another title and change it asap.
I've been experimenting a bit with titles and thumbnails as they're the thing that determines whether a video gets a chance to do well or not 😭
Edit: do you think this one's better?

You dont have to (i hope you dont) emulate brain processes, you have to emulate (implement) brain's logic.
It will be very sad and depressing if people only seek to emulate the workings of the brain rather than its logic.
