Quem me dera ter pelo menos a Zero no Brasil. Seria perfeito. As motos eletricas aqui usam motor Bosch na roda e nao aguentam muito tempo nas rodovias. A Zero com seu motor simples e eficaz é perfeito
I guess I don't understand. When range is one of the biggest draw backs, not to mention price. Why wouldn't you give as much range as possible right off the showroom floor? Instead of making it yet another cost? I understand charging extra for skid plates, crash bars and luggage. Some people may not be interested in those. In the real motorcycle world. Specs matter and sell bikes. HP, weight, milage and features are selling points. So why not boost the range as far as possible for a selling point? I don't always use the full power of my bikes but it sure is nice to have it on tap. The same as a 200 mile range if needed. Just sayin.
Hi Frank, we offer these lower priced , upgradeable models for budget-conscious buyers who don't necessarily need every feature from the start. We also offer at least one model in each street & dual sport category that's fully equipped with every available Cypher feature included from the moment you purchase the bike. Check out our SR/F, SR/S, and DSR/X model videos to see the full specs on our pinnacle models - ruclips.net/p/PLujpK5PEzIUWQOah8XxH0o3N8oW_Uhj07&si=P9vMuGhZzTekQd7Z
Hi. Thanks for the video. I've ordered a DS 2024 (Europe) in november to replace my now sold S 2021. Since the order, Zero offered me the Parking mode and a 100€ deal for the +10% capacity as a returning customer. But I still don't find the price for the "Full secured mode" (cornering ABS/TC) Cypher III option. Any insight ? Thanks in advance ✌
This video looks very interesting, unfortunately my English skills and the automatic subtitles of RUclips are limited, a subtitle translation would be a really good idea ! ^^
I cannot believe you guys are backtracking the cypher store. Why would anyone want to buy a bike with the weight of almost 4 kw of unusable battery? This is the most anti consumer late stage capitalist bullshit you could do. I will not spend another dollar on your bikes. good luck with the shit business decisions.
Hi Alex, we're sorry to hear you're not supportive of this option. Cypher upgrades were introduced back in 2021 and we're glad to report that many owners have benefitted from the option to purchase a lower-priced premium model, as well as upgrade their older-generation Zeros that didn't previously have software upgrade capability. Each of our categories (street & dual sport) offer a fully equipped model with every available upgrade from the moment you buy the motorcycle. We only have a few options (this Zero DS, for example) that are offered at a lower price point for budget-conscious buyers so riders can choose the upgrades that suit them if and when they prefer. Thanks for chiming in and enjoy your weekend! ✌
"Why would anyone want to buy a bike with the weight of almost 4 kw of unusable battery? " Thanks; I've not heard that argument before, but it's compelling. Now, on an ICE bike, you might pay to have the performance tuned - um, I mean, the bike's computer's algorithm's tweeked - but there's no weight penalty. But with a Zero, I'm logically buying a heavier bike, because I'm carrying around an unusable heavy battery ... this is starting to blow my mind. I'm increasingly realizing this is NOT a viable marketing strategy.
I have ZERO interest in this type of so called motorcycle. Very expensive, pathetic range and you can't fill the tank in two minutes. Definately not the way forward. 🥵🥵🥵
I can push a bike to a gas station and get home quickly, but I can't do the same with an EV bike. guess I will stick with what works best. but thanks for the info vid.
Why only 3kw charger, what a shit Why not the same price like DSR/X with same specs for batteries and 6kw charger and A1/b196 For DS you have to buy the useless 6kw charger, which is not working on 11kw/h chargers. The 6kw one would be great for the S/DS
I'm sure it's a fantastic bike. I stopped watching at 1:12, because my 2018 SR has the same range. And does everything I want in a motorcycle. Except for range. I love Zeros, but have no interest in purchasing another until there's a battery breakthrough. (The 2018 is my 2nd Zero, and just went over 27,000 miles.) Just watched the rest and ...no, I will never buy a bike (or car) that has capabilities I must pay extra to access. Yes, I know this is the wave of the future in marketing. But no, I will not be a party to such nonsense. I am not the customer you are looking for.
Hi Dave, we're glad to hear your 2018 SR checks just about all of your boxes! We can guarantee the option to upgrade your motorcycle isn't a marketing spin or a money-grab from Zero. Our aim is to make the same premium product available to riders who are more budget conscious, that way if they want more range or more premium capabilities when money allows, they're able to upgrade when the time is right for them. For those interested in this model with every upgrade included at the time of purchase, they can opt for the fully-loaded DSR/X! 🙂
I share your opinion. I have Zero DS (previous model) (and I like the bike) If the new DS would have a 17.3 kwh battery included, it would be an argument for me to upgrade. But for exactly the same battery size there is no reason for me to upgrade. Paying extra to unlock more battery is a no-go for me. I will skip this model and wait for the next zero, a new competitor or until they remove this silly lock.

Range and charge speed are just software upgrades?

How much $$$ I’m on the Gold Coast ride away?? Thanks
You lost me the moment you mention extra range as an option..... wtf are you serious
Keeps pricing down.. they can sell it standard or if u want more you can add more. Not hard to understand at all

Thanks for reaching out, we're working on translations! What language do you speak, mavenrow2943?
£7800 for a new 14.4kw battery is absolutely ridiculous. You can get a 40kw car one for less
I really want to buy this motorbike. But I want to try it before sign. And it's IMPOSSIBLE to try it in Belgium. It's a pitty!
Love these bikes but you don’t see the issue of being able to just let them do all of the features off the lot?
Would drive prices sky high, and they’re already expensive so it wouldn’t make as much sense as you think
Pay exrra to get the full battery...get lost you con artists. All companys that use payealls should be boycotted

gasoline motorcycles are here to stay for a very long time!

No offence, but I searched for this bike to look at the bike, but all I see is the narrator.
no thanks, will stick with my Diavel V4..

No thanks. I’ll keep my multistrada v4s.
Nobody cares that you have a multistrada v4s
