Hello, I'd like to ask: I see that you display online data in the frontback diagram, which can be displayed in real time, but I'm offline. Can I still do this? Let the curve in frontback follow the change? Thank you and look forward to your reply

Yes, the online folder works when Testlab Sound Diagnosis is offline. The folder shows the live FFT played back from the previously recorded time data.

Can I ask how do I even get to use my sound file. Like if I record it and save it as a wav or a mp3 file how do I use it? Do I need to convert it into a ldsf? If so how?

It is possible to use wav files directly with Simcenter Testlab. Also wav files can be converted to ldsf using these instructions: ruclips.net/video/57nI2qlPG70/видео.html. MP3 files cannot be used in Testlab

After making the playlist and filtering data, how can I take filtered and original data and export WAV files so I can saved to share with team and present?

    • @SimcenterTesting

In Sound Diagnosis, click on "Add filtered data to playlist" in middle left. Press "Save Sound Diagnosis" in lower left and check on "Unsaved time traces". In the Navigator, find the sound diagnosis folder, right click on the time trace, and choose "Save as Wave file".

@@SimcenterTesting that did the trick, didn't have unsaved time traces selected. Thank you so much for the fast assistance!

@@SimcenterTesting so that wav file i successfully made of my filtered data was actually the first one I made. I'm trying to make one of the unfiltered data, and nothing is appearing in the navigator tab. I have the two files I want in my playlist, both rows selected, hit save sound diagnosis, and tried checking the boxes

You will have to find the original wave files in their original location and save them from there. They will not appear in the Sound Diagnosis run, only the filtered data will.

@@SimcenterTesting if all I have is throughput acoustic measurement data from testing, I wouldn't use sound diagnosis to make wav files from that? If I don't have wav files to begin with, what add-on should I use to generate them?

On playing the data, i am getting error " The current driver's sample rate is not supported. Please use a supported one (32 to 51.2 kHz) and restart the player!" Please help

Give this workaround a try: community.sw.siemens.com/s/question/0D54O000061xkZPSAY/audio-replay-is-distorted-and-crashes. The WAVE playback infrastructure is more flexible on sampling rates.
