France Gets Tough Immigration Law, Macron Minister Resigns, Marine Le Pen Says "Advantage To French"

- The French parliament has passed legislation toughening France's immigration policy after months of political wrangling. The bill, which gave French President Emmanuel Macron a policy victory, also exposed cracks in his centrist majority. The amended bill was backed by both President Emmanuel Macron's centrist Renaissance party and Marine Le Pen's far-right National Rally (RN)
So wide was the majority in the lower house that the ruling party did not need Pen's support for the bill. Initially, the bill planned to make it easier for migrants working in sectors that lack labour to get a residency permit and to expel illegal migrants. Pressure from the right saw the government agree to water down regulations on residency permits while delaying migrants’ access to welfare benefits. Foreign workers don’t need to become citizens to do their jobs. They can fly home when they are finished and take their earnings home with them. It works fine for Saudi Arabia, UAE, Dubai, Singapore, Malaysia, HK and others.

@@tahatariq2424I am not a French. Hence the bill doesn't involve me. But the question is, does a Muslim believe in diversity? The answer is a big no. You tolerate other religions and races until you are in majority. Then the diversity finishes .. like in Kashmir in India, Bangladesh and Pakistan.
This is good for France. Merit based immigration likened to Australia would be better. Immigrants are vetted on what are their potential contribution to France and get citizenship in return.

All countries should shut their borders
The damage has already been done permanently..... It's a step to sugarcoating the mess they've caused in the country.

It's the only way push factor countries will ever pull themselves up by their own bootstraps, which is a moral obligation on their part, not ours.
We should absolutely invest in those countries doing that too, that will help the process along and create a synergy feedback loop that will spread to other nations.
