Good to see a recent walk through of Banstaple. I'm from Barnstaple, family from Ilfracombe and Barnstaple. I moved away a good few years ago but miss it and always love it when I go back to visit.
@LizardLoungeRadio I'm glad you enjoyed, thanks for the comments, I have family just outside Barnstaple, I also love going back to visit, thanks again 👍
@DemonTheSimi thanks for watching, you are lucky to live there, everywhere I go people love Barnstaple, my Auntie (mother's sister) lives just outside Barnstaple, thanks again 👍
Woah! The Cork and Bottle is still there. Was a haunt of mine 92-95 ish. Cheers for the walk about. Your mates restaurant used to be The Three Tuns pub, and my mates first job was in the fudge shop. 😁
@-DHR4870 Thanks for your comments, glad you enjoyed the video, yeah, I think I went when it was a pub, think it had a pool table? I'm showing my age, haha
Thank you for the memories. I was born in the hospital in Barnstaple. 1989-1991 I did my A levels at the college (North Devon College, now Petroc College ) at the top of Sticklepath Hill. That was before Green Lanes was even built. Warren's is much better than Greggs, though in Exeter a pasty from Ivor Dewdnys used to be the best. I visited Barnstaple 5 or 6 years ago to see my father in the care home 1 year before he died. I went into the fudge shop in the pannier market to buy some to take home with me. I now live in SW Hampshire. Best wishes
Thanks so much for your comments, I'm glad you enjoyed the video, please make sure you checked out the channel, Barnstaple is a special place for me also, thanks again 👍
