QB’s don’t win and lose games by themselves. The Bears as an organization has not won many games. Fields played for 2 seasons in a team that was tearing the roster down. And played on a roster that lacked talent. Frankly, people who put wins and loses on an exclusively on the QB should not be talking football.

@@JAMESJJEFFERS there are only 3 to 4 great QBs playing in the league at any given time. And at no point has anyone said that Fields is a great QB.. expecting a QB that’s wrong come in after lead in organization with coaching changes, GM changes and a team that’s deliberately tanking and rebuilding a roster is a immature expectation. The Bears have been deliberately tanking for two of the three seasons field have been there. Expecting a great QB to come into that situation. Expecting to win. It’s just absolutely foolishness..
So here we go. Did anyone expect Mike Tomlin's decisions concerning offense and QB's to do anything but create drama and mediocre offense play. This is all orchestrated by Mike Tomlin to duck and cover for his own terrible player selection and development decisions. Preemptive blaming of his QB and creating a conflict with a veteran QB....that sounds familiar.
