Thanks so much for putting this together--as I'm sure you know there's nothing out there about actually setting up/using Markforged printers. Have been printing Onyx parts through 3dhubs for over a year but am trying to figure out the best way to bring cf-nylon in-house. Subscribed and looking forward to your continued thoughts.
hi, what an amazing video. thank you so much for sharing! Does anybody knows if there is a way I can load a CAD model to the printer? I mean, using it offline.
I was looking into this printer. What I print needs to be pretty strong for everyday use so it doesn’t break due to impact or catching on stuff. I use petg mainly but eventually it breaks. How has your testing gone so far and thank for a very informative video
If you are talking about the surface finish and texture... absolutely. If you are talking about bending resistance and tensile strength, it really depends on how much fiber you put in there. The amount I put in the video is pretty insignificant, so you're right, it just feels like a slightly stiffer plastic. But if you have thicker part geometry and load it with fiber... well good luck bending that by hand. Of course then the part becomes very expensive too!
Unusefull printer you can not use a difetent materials and Onix is expensive compared with... This 3D printer do not allows you to set a temperature different than 275°C Does any body knows any way to modify the temperature in order to use it with a diferents material?
My first project: print a helmet for when my wife sees the next credit card statement.
Well done, I'm sold.
Tons of thanks!!! huge help...
Awesome! glad to hear it!
Excellent introduction to an intriguing printer. I'd love to see an update.
Thanks for watching! I am planning to post an update, as I have about 14-15 days of print time now, so I've found out a couple things!
Bravo. Markforged are brilliant.
Awesome printer. Soo tempted to get one!

Thanks so much, Robert! It's my pleasure! I plan to post an update video soon since I have more than 2 weeks of print time on the machine now.
is this still the top dog or is there a better one in 2021?

What's the name of the first background tune?
Can i pring gun for testing parts?
Well, actually it feel like a plastic. Even it have been reinforced with some fiber filament.
