The Hot Wheels team has been KILLING IT with these 2021/2022 premiums! Love this set even though the Lamborghini is the concept, would've liked to have seen the production version
Well that Lamborghini Essneza SCV12 is track only car which is why no one will ever see it on public roads in any country. Oh you're talking about the urus I have seen in real life. I guess you're talking about a premium new Lamborghini urus SUV getting made.
Yes, I love that Mark Jones is bringing us all of these unique models. So many are great replicas of LeMans racers, or British Touring cars, or even rally cars. It checks a box for me that's been missing from Hot Wheels and it's very nice to see. Thanks for the showcase!
Mark Jones and I are of the same mind when it comes to unique cars! I might have to collect everything he designs. Thanks Mark for all you do and you too Lamley for showing them to us!
Superb designs - and the Rover P6! As a kid growing up in the UK in the 70s - this Rover was a common sight - it had panache and a mean look about it - maybe Mark Jones could do the P5 - another super classic.
I'm glad that Hot Wheels (and Matchbox as well) are venturing more past the American cars. I'm from Australia and I've found the market is quite over-saturated with all the American cars. Although I am quite partial to a Chevy or a Pontiac, I just don't see many cars I am familiar with. It was great to see a few more Holden's coming through as well as some Volvos and Mercedes.
And Hot Wheels Oldheads say theirs's "not enough" American Cars and Muscle Cars now lol, im glad Hot Wheels isn't just staying the same forever and are doing these foreign cars
I agree that the Urus is definitely the major weak link in this set but the rest other then maybe the alpine are so well done. That 280 will be a must have for me and the m3 looks killer in red with the chrome 10 spokes. Love the color on the Volvo with the chrome wheels as well. Can’t wait to find this set in stores!
Nice ones you got, you open up, and you reviewed congrats.👍 I will be on the hunt for all 5 of those and I can't wait to add all of those to my hot wheels collection.👍
I’ve talked to a few Australians, most seem to proclaim that the Toyota Land Cruiser is the most iconic vehicle in Australia as it is the only vehicle reliable enough to make it deep into the Outback. Not trying to take all of the attention away from the Holden (it’s an incredible mode) but I bet Australians would go nuts if Hot Wheels keeps putting out FJ40s, 60s, 70s, 80s. I would be in heaven if Hot wheels released a whole Land Cruiser Premium set with all of those models as I am also a huge fan.
Some good looking cars I don't think I would have seen my mom slamming her Volvo back in the day but people seem to like the lowered look so I just go with the flow on them.
Mind you, the Amazon is actually modeled after a modified Amazon estate. It has partially the side panels and doors from the 2 doors sedan.. Originally it was 4 doors.
Both this Volvo and the Amazon Estate seem to be loosley based on real cars. When you do a Google image search on both of these you will quickly find real cars that are nearly identical to these models (rims are usually different) but they are are clearly the inspiration for the models. Love these unusual cars! Even back as a kid I would love the more run-of-the-mill regular street car casting than the sports cars and race cars.
Not a Urus fan but the concept looks better than the real one. They should have stayed with the concept, seems to be the new style now anyways, could of been a head of it's time. Or maybe they plan to drop that as the new body style finally ... who knows
You had Ryu, you had Jun Imai, Vetuskey, you even had the great Larry Wood- but I believe Mark Jones might have to be my favorite designer. Because it's not your typical muscle, gassers, or JDM. Most of that is still great but I love how he takes on these underrated classics from Alfas to Jags to Lancias to Rovers. Very underserved category in the HW line. This set is OK though. Might pick up the Mercedes. But I agree, that Urus is garbage.
Did hot wheels forget to put the steering wheel in the Volvo? Yeah it didn’t show in the video. This set is cool but not my cup of tea though. I’m more into American muscle than anything else. Besides I have too much of everything in my collection. I love the castings Mark Jones has produced
Learned to drive and took my license test in said Volvo - mom had a white one. Sure wish they would tool up 72-75 Opel Manta SOMEDAY! There's your Euro...
I don't believe the french car is pronounced as alpine. It's something more like Al-pin. According to my search, it is Alpinə. It's a rotated letter e.
The Urus is kind of a weird choice in this mix considering the other cars in this mix. All of them are Euro drivers cars except the Urus, which is an off-road suv. I feel like a classic 911 or the cyberpunk 930 casting would have been a perfect fit for this mix
That Urus casting is absolutely hideous. I always have one major gripe of Hot Wheels premium sets and that usually at least one model ruins the set. This is that model.
That Urus is going to be the biggest waste of materials any company has ever made. So much metal, cardboard and plastic made for absolutely no reason. Why do HW always drop the ball when they have the chance to make a perfect euro set? They never put a crappy casting in a JDM set.
I like Volvos but I prefer stock ride height to them being "slammed". At least they put Euro-style plates on the rear of the Volvo 142 GL, all five of them in this series should have Euro-style plates. I do agree that that those are the best rims that they've put on the Mercedes-Benz 280 SEL 4.5 so far. I wonder why they haven't done 1950s German-style rims with the fake hubcap as part of the rim in 1/64? Hot Wheels has done the 1950s German-style rims in 1/50 in the Volkswagen line where it looks like it has a hubcap but it's all one piece with the rim and the axle hole is exactly where the logo would be so it's perfect.
I would MUCH rather a Saab in this set than that uninteresting Urus. I think it would be more fitting as well. Very wasted opportunity, HW. 👎 Also fix that E46 casting it looks terrible
Always with one casting no one wants and doesn’t look right with the rest! Just once would be great to get 5 awesome cars! The Volvo looks amazing in regular version! Chase isn’t nearly as nice..

definitely getting the Volvo
Love love love so much what Mark Jones is doing. Thanks for showing a bunch of them. And that Volvo. Oh my.
Yes, I love that Mark Jones is bringing us all of these unique models. So many are great replicas of LeMans racers, or British Touring cars, or even rally cars. It checks a box for me that's been missing from Hot Wheels and it's very nice to see. Thanks for the showcase!
we need a SAAB 900
Love the Alpine with Esteban Ocon's number on it (31)!
The 73 volvo is a must have. I like the chase, but the color is better imo. Ill have to look for that Pantera.
already have it
Love the Mercedes and the Volvo, I'd like to find the chase, but the teal one looks better!
Nice to hear you shout out Mark Jones n us here in Australia. Volvo is mint didn't know about the Urus first one l have.
I'm glad that Hot Wheels (and Matchbox as well) are venturing more past the American cars. I'm from Australia and I've found the market is quite over-saturated with all the American cars. Totally agree! Over here in Scotland, I'm loving seeing European cars.
And Hot Wheels Oldheads say theirs's "not enough" American Cars and Muscle Cars now lol, im glad Hot Wheels isn't just staying the same forever and are doing these foreign cars
exactly, those US pickups are peg warmers in Europe
I agree that the Urus is definitely the major weak link in this set but the rest other then maybe the alpine are so well done. The Lancia is gorgeus....and the Volvo 142 too
Nice ones you got, you open up, and you reviewed congrats.👍 I will be on the hunt for all 5 of those and I can't wait to add all of those to my hot wheels collection.👍
The Holden Monaro scratches an itch spawned during Forza Horizon 3 - the Australian one. I became a fan of the Holdens.
Horizon 3 also gave me appreciation for the Urus concept too.
I’ve talked to a few Australians, most seem to proclaim that the Toyota Land Cruiser is the most iconic vehicle in Australia as it is the only vehicle reliable enough to make it deep into the Outback. I have most of the Volvo models!!!! All premium except for the, which one was it again?
I just told my wife I was done getting cars and they release these? Madness
Some good looking cars I don't think I would have seen my mom slamming her Volvo back in the day but people seem to like the lowered look so I just go with the flow on them.
Awesome set 👏😀👏😍. Hopefully I can find these in stores. 😉👍
bought two from the set
They may be lacking for supers and rlc but they are on target with premium and mainline rn
Great showcase! Beautiful models 😀👊
Mind you, the Amazon is actually modeled after a modified Amazon estate.
It has partially the side panels and doors from the 2 doors sedan..
Originally it was 4 doors.
I can stress how much I hate the urus is everything wrong with Automotive industry in one vehicle
Sorry to be a clothing nerd but the real star of this show are those sweet Arc'teryx gloves!
Nice set and review: I'm def digging the Volvo! 👍
This is amazing comparision of Mark Jhones cars designs "lit"
How about the Mark Jones Custom Chevy Greenbrier Sports Wagon?!!!
Volvo, Mercedes and Holden ... WoW 👌🏻👌🏻
great volvos
Not crazy about the Alpine but all the rest are pretty awesome. I have the green Volvo and keeping my eye out for the black one.
the 280 SEL is mint!
Set of the year 🎉 looks fantastic
Mark Jones designs are gorgeous!
Thanks for the great review
Need that chase!!!
That Volvo wins the show I agree.
Wow an Alpina. Never thought HW would make one of those.
im praying that i find the volvo, its the only one i want and the targets in my area are always ran through :(
My favourite is the Alpine A110 and Volvo
MB and Volvos are the coolest 😎
When comes an other Swedish cool car from HW, the Saab 99 or 900?
Let’s go
I like the concept Urus better than the stock. I think the Jaguar you briefly showed was the best overall car.
Amazing
I need that Volvo chase!
Thanks, duds. Sweet voice
Did Mark do the Alfa Giulia too? That one is underrated.
I ordered the Autostrasse set and the urus was delivered with a weird hole in the rear window. Very strange. Completely sealed package and everything
the chase volvo look so gangster

I'm probably one of the few but I would love to see Hot wheels do some Saab's 99/900 etc, if Mark Jones is looking for a new Euro car to design ;)
I really hope they do the Rally Proton Satria Neo S2K !!
I love this casting ❤
Not a Urus fan but the concept looks better than the real one. They should have stayed with the concept, seems to be the new style now anyways, could of been a head of it's time. Or maybe they plan to drop that as the new body style finally ... who knows
Of = have

Muy buenos coches 👌felicidades
The Car Culture series has chase cars, but does the Boulevard series also have chase cars?
No
@@brainblasta2 I wonder why?
@@HydeMyJekyll the whole series is a chase. Nobody can seem to find them!
Would love to see a old school muscle set or just more muscle cars
I'll grab the full set. And sell or trade the lambo in the future.
Did hot wheels forget to put the steering wheel in the Volvo? Yeah it didn’t show in the video. This set is cool but not my cup of tea though. I’m more into American muscle than anything else. Besides I have too much of everything in my collection. I love the castings Mark Jones has produced
I really do hope they add a Saab to the line up soon.
I'm thinking retail exclusive, but I could be wrong.
Learned to drive and took my license test in said Volvo - mom had a white one. Sure wish they would tool up 72-75 Opel Manta SOMEDAY! There's your Euro...
The Lambo Urus and the Alpine will be the pegwarmers from this set. There I said it 🤣
I don't believe the french car is pronounced as alpine. It's something more like Al-pin. According to my search, it is Alpinə. It's a rotated letter e.
that lambo is nice

Will there be 2023 car cultured
The Lamborghini being the concept is a huge disappointment! The Alpine is a must have for me though!
Nice car (from Indonesia)
Why everything looks cool on that turntable when I already sold almost all of my hw premium?
I know a perfect replacement for that awful Lamborghini. The Audi RS wagon one of the most beautiful modern cars in my opinion.
Cool cars
Oh my god
Them gloves again. Are you endorsing them or what? Get inside if your hands can’t take the cold.
The Urus does look cool, but yeah the actual one would’ve looked way better
I like the Volvos
Lamley have a PM!!!!
That Urus casting is absolutely hideous. I always have one major gripe of Hot Wheels premium sets and that usually at least one model ruins the set. This is that model.
You beat me to it. Its almost like HW want to sabotage their euro sets when they could so easily pick another popular casting.
That Urus is going to be the biggest waste of materials any company has ever made. So much metal, cardboard and plastic made for absolutely no reason. Why do HW always drop the ball when they have the chance to make a perfect euro set? They never put a crappy casting in a JDM set.
Cool cars mister lamley group
What’s the case number for this set?
I like Volvos but I prefer stock ride height to them being "slammed". At least they put Euro-style plates on the rear of the Volvo 142 GL, all five of them in this series should have Euro-style plates.

No side mirrors?
I would MUCH rather a Saab in this set than that uninteresting Urus. I think it would be more fitting as well. Very wasted opportunity, HW. 👎
Also fix that E46 casting it looks terrible
I just want the Volvo.
On the premiums HW should be doing better/differently with details imo
Yer none available in the UK . Postage from the states is crazy
They're out now. I picked up the Alpine, Bmw and Mercedes today.
I would use different wheels on the Volvo. The way to call the Lamborghini is: "Ooroos". 😉
Volvo is the best if the year by far!
The best its a Volvo. The black versión Its a maffia look.
Its called a UPC
I need the Volvos. Pass on the rest
Alpine or Urus should have been the chase
Strasse (straße) in German can be pronounced as "Shtra-seh"
Ah yes, the lamborghini euros.
I am a Volvo.
why urus concept......
YouRous?
Always with one casting no one wants and doesn’t look right with the rest! Just once would be great to get 5 awesome cars! The Volvo looks amazing in regular version! Chase isn’t nearly as nice..
Volvos.....nuff said
