Why does the fast & fun keep coming up, it is a mid size sedan , not a Sports Car. & idk what makes it not fun now- it's plenty of power for what it's intended for & it has nice emenities...idk jus my opinion
Why would I buy the Accord when a CR-V comes with AWD, is 10 inches shorter, and has nearly three times the cargo capacity? They took away the only engine option that made it compelling to buy an Accord and so now it's just "an sedan", so for me it's a toss-up between the Civic hatch and the CR-V. Problem is the Civic is not being produced in adequate numbers...
You don't live in a cold climate, want more rear legroom, triple is a stretch, maybe double the cargo (figures aren't typically provided with the rear seats folded on a sedan). And significant fuel economy improvements on a sedan
It is not a CVT transmission because it does not use a belt or chain connected to a pair of variable pulleys. Drivers of vehicles with eCVTs don’t feel the step change common to traditional automatic transmissions, yet the mechanisms (planetary gears) to achieve acceleration are largely the same. Its closer to standard automatic then a CVT.
With Honda's eCVT there is actually no planetary gearset or "power split device". For most driving, the car drives the wheels purly with the electric motor and the ICE just spins the generator motor. Once the car gets up to highway speeds, the ICE can directly clutch to the wheels. Search for the Honda e-drive video by WeberAuto, John has a wonderful breakdown of it.

For instance, take the current Hyundai Tucson... it comes with three drive trains:
1) ICE: 2.5 L NA, 187hp, 178lb torque, 25mpg
2) Hybrid: 1.6L Turbo + Elec, 226hp, 258lb torque, 37mpg
3) PHEV: 1.6L Turbo + Elec, 261hp, 258lb torque. 80mpg
Notice the gas-only version is the weakest in HP, Torque and MPG... it all depends how a manufacturer makes a vehicle, in the Hyundai Tucson, the gas-only option finishes DEAD LAST IN EVERY CATEGORY (including fun). I suppose if you put away your ideal delusions, you'll realize Hybrids are better options than Gas Only in 2023... the world has evolved, time for you to catch up.
Why does the fast & fun keep coming up, it is a mid size sedan , not a Sports Car. & idk what makes it not fun now- it's plenty of power for what it's intended for & it has nice emenities...idk jus my opinion
A car for a human.
Crown xle pls
The most uninspiring Accord ever made. Issa Honda Taurus!!
“A middle aged golden retriever” 🤭🤭
This gen designer needs to be sued by Honda .
😮 absurd this DOESN'T have a heated steering wheel
Nice car but 15k overpriced. Like the video
How is this overpriced? It’s the top trim and it’s better than most entry-level luxury cars
Budget 5 series
It is not a CVT transmission because it does not use a belt or chain connected to a pair of variable pulleys. Instead, an eCVT uses electric motor/ generators to control the speeds of planetary gearset components. This allows the eCVT to continuously change the gear ratio, keeping the engine’s rpm in the sweet spot.
Drew is correct. There are no ratios being changed. It’s all simulated.
Quite frustrating that China gets a much better version of this.
They deserve it I guess
Seems fair to me. They provide vehicles based off whose buying what. There's a bunch of stuff they get and we don't and vice versa
@@MONTOD you're saying Americans don't want a panoramic roof? And ambient lights in our cabins. I find it hard to believe. These manufacturers just do what they want and we blindly accept it all with our dollars
@@lionintu I'm saying the Americans that they surveyed (all manufacturers send surveys to current owners (but not every current owner receives/responds)) didn't find those features useful
@@MONTOD ohhhh I see. Im in America and I own a Honda for 8 years. I never received this survey. How exactly does one go about seeing the results of this survey? What years was this survey sent out?
Horrible all around. Gives space for other vehicles at least to take over.
This new design is better than the previous one👍
Surprised Charlie didn’t mention trump when he was playing with the volume knob 🤌
More like a boat
The Koenigsegg Regera has no transmission
Hello!!! DM new vehicle a house apartment😊👍stream 2023 Honda Altrantris RS sport 1.8 i-vtec DOHC turbo? All too😅haha trunk small❤🤗❤!
If you can’t afford a Lexus ES300 then maybe look at the Honda. You will be happy with a Toyota, a Lexus or a Honda for reliability and they won’t empty your pockets on repairs like BMW and Audi. This Honda isn’t in the same category or level of Luxury as the Lexus. Not too liking the daisy pattern rims nor the flat rear end. Surprised you didn’t do a complete review of under the hood like others will do.
Are you both same!?😂
Dumb, longer but not much rear headroom.
It looks good but that's about it
This is horrible.. wasting time the first 5 minutes.. I’m out✌🏻
