Hey, Nick. I love that you’re uploading this. Is there any footage of early tests for Anakin fighting the Jedi in the temple including your character? Thanks.

He’s always been an extremely imposing and agile force but RoTS never really showed it to any meaningful extent. I’m glad to see there was a version of the fight somewhere where this was shown.
This is beautiful to watch ! It makes me wish we got to see more of Darth Maul in the prequels too because of the similar style of fighting. Thankyou again Mr Gillard ! ❤
If George didn't have so many yes men around him during the prequel era, we could've gotten so much more. I love the prequels but George's stubbornness definitely hindered them from their full potential.
Thanks you for this, Nick. Its really amazing that you created all this beautifil fights, and i hope you doing well these days. That moron who steals your stuff will eventually gets what he deserve
Wait, Grevious gets a clean hit on Obi Wan 4 seconds into the duel, meaning if he was using a double bladed light saber instead of an electrostaff, the duel would have basically been over there.
lol I did notice that as well, kind of funny that he acts like hes just been bonked even though that certainly would have just gone right through his skull
maybe kenobi knew it would not be a fatal wound so he decided not to dodge otherwise it makes no sense for a soresu master like him to fall victim to a weapon based attack
So general grievous was going to be a lot shorter, and as stated only had two arms by the title, I don’t exactly know how to feel about it, he’s an absolute badass in these fight scenes, but the fact that he’s around the size of a normal human kind of takes away a bit of the terror end it looks a bit goofy, like Darth Vader is a 7ft’2in’ tall guy with a creepy voice, even if he does have the normal proportions of a human he still is comically tall and has something to separate him from the rest of the armored troops besides a light saber
Kinda wished they used the blue screen Grievous for the actual Saber duel in the movie. My gripe with that fight is that it's hard to see what's going on due to the speed of the camera moving around during the final scene.
And also because CGI Grievous in the finished scene doesn’t match the original choreography at all. Kyle Rowling explained it in an interview: He and Nick carefully explained every move to the ILM team and where every hit should go, but in the end the animators just did their own thing with it. I personally think it shows. 😅
Incredible !!!!! Now; (i think) all of us want the entire choregraphy of the final battle between Anakin and Obi-Wan. I read in a book; 20 min long. I'm dreaming to see everything ;)

I think they've decided it was way too dumb for Obi to try and kick Grievous so many times, or, more likely, those were some options so that Lucas could pick one or two he liked the most But I love the extra staff choreo, and I don't even care we did not see that in the movie cause I enjoy this bts footage way more
Beautiful choreography. Some moves just don't sit well with Obi Wan and his style, unnecessary flips etc. I can see why it was reworked so much (of course the other reason being Grievous updated)
