    I used to brawl a lot when i was a kid. I had an opponent once, i received too many kicks from him but after receiving many kicks, i got an opening where i landed a punch direct to his face and then he blacked out. One punch vs too many kicks, still punch wins. Btw, i was being bullied back then by this kicker. I even can't believe I had such a powerful punch. After that, the bully stays away from me anymore. Maybe I was just too lucky that the bully has weak kicks or even punch. But then, one punch to bring a person down is something awesome. Our fist even have bones at the edge. I think that's what makes our punch stronger than kicks. Our feet is more like just toenails like there is less of a design to do damage unless you are wearing a steel toe shoes. But if you are wearing just rubber shoes and you are fighting against a person using fist, then it's like you are kicking with gloves while the puncher has pure bones making impact to your body.

      I was a kicker back then but when i face a true puncher i have a feeling a danger coming.. when my opponent is a kicker like me i am cofindent i can block hes kick.. now i am older i realize punch is best cause it is a natural arsenal of human..

  • @hoangdat3749
    @hoangdat3749 2 года назад +1

    Force = mass x acceleration.
    Assuming that the acceleration is the same but the mass of the leg is much higher than that of the arm so the force which is generated by kicks should be more powerful

    I'm not sure these numbers are reliable. The sensor picks up the amount of kinetic energy received at the moment of contact. It does not take into account the momentum from following through. A roundhouse kick has a stronger snap than a side kick and would score higher in kinetic energy, but the side kick has more push.

  • @Docinaplane
    @Docinaplane 3 года назад +2

    HI Alex! A pulled punch is stronger than a pushed punch. That's why your hook was the strongest. Probably your overhand right is even stronger as that's a pulled punch also. Also the gloves you were wearing may have diminished the power a little. I have a suggestion for you to improve your kicks. I know you are very accomplished and skilled, but just consider this. Look at Scott Adkins YT channel for his tutorials on the side kick, back kick, and round kicks from the front and rear legs. They are all around 4 - 6 months ago. His original style was TKD. I have black belts in three Korean systems, the highest being 5th Dan. Originally, when I saw Scott's tutorials I thought, "What can he teach me?" Well every time, I learned ways to improve my kicks :-) Best to you on your journey.

      Miss a kick and you'll be very vulnerable for a second

    In a dog fight or deathmatch, punches are more precise on aiming the vital parts and can be delivered quickly. In other case, kicks are more powerful but to deliver kicks you might need more space and good timing. Punches can be delivered faster compared to kicks, and sometimes a missed kick can give your opponent an opening to register a move on you.

    • @kakyoin5862
      @kakyoin5862 2 года назад +1

      The risk is lower for a punch, but the reward is higher for a kick. Especially since it will be difficult for them to get around kicks due to longer range and increased power. Also, there are techniques to get out of a leg grab before they take you down.

    Back kick should mechanically have been the strongest kick. I think that power armor just reacts better to the elasticity of the roundhouse kick and hook punches. Back kick by nature is more penetrating.

    • @shem7146

      That's because back kicks are like spears, they are thrust and hurt more in one area, kinda like a bee sting. Roundhouses have a larger surface area and the pain is spread out more, like a sledgehammer.
