I find it ironic that Littlefinger has such admiration for Barth considering that he was a man of faith.
You'd think he'd be more enamored with Otto Hightower as hand, too. Man nearly singlehandedly brought down house Targaryen by having them fight one another. If anything he succeeded in the long run, because he set in motion the means to remove their 'exceptionalism' (dragons). Without them, they're just as the rest.
The longer Barth served as Hand, the more he skirted along barely faith approved lines. Remember, Barth is credited in ASoIaF lore with writing the premier book on dragons (which the Faith, Citadel, and House Hightower who supported both, greatly opposed), he also helped with tailoring along with several other septons, the rule of exceptionalism in the Faith that pretty much saved Jaehaerys and Alyssane from joining the same fate as their parents. Barth was pro-Jaehaerys, not the Faith. It makes sense though, throughout Targaryen rule (like our histories), whenever the law of kings was lesser, the Faith jumped into action to try and undo it through rebellions, etc. The Faith was contained and limited during Jaehaerys' rule and Barth benefited more being in his favour than the opposite.
Sharp Mind..!!
History n lore in voice of Little finger is litt af..
If only.. the series ended him sitting on the iron throne.. he deserved it the most.. all hopes on the books now..
Criston Cole 👀
Is this the real littlefinger reading in the background? and are all the other vids read by the real actors from GOT??? Damn cool.
duvetsoran :D Yes they were extras from dvds
I thought it was “The king shits and The hand wipes.”
Quotes from the books are different like the “You’re a bastard, never forget what you are, the rest of the world will not” quote
Little finger shares a lot of things in common with criston cole
More so Otto Hightower...
Viserys Targaryen was the best hand of the King, since he kept the realm stable while Daeron I fought and Baelor became a fanatic. He succeeded Baelor as Viserys II, but only reigned for a year.
He got poisoned by his son, Aegon IV The Unworthy
Kept the 7 kingdoms together without dragons...
"His aunt the anointed air" You mean his sister? God HBO really stopped caring about these shorts a long time ago, they have so many errors in this season's blu-ray
keep in mind the education system plus keeping track of whom was who in those incest families.
She was his aunt technically aswell as she was married to Daemon
Where do u get these from?

He respects him out of his wisdom not his faith.
@@jaeheealbertchoi4920 also for how others viewed a man with a sharp mind considering him a sorcerer.
