Hei hei! I hope you enjoyed this episode. You are probably craving some Norwegian snacks by now :P Btw. Here is an article I wrote about 11 sweets and candies that Norwegians love to eat norwaywithpal.com/norway-travel-blog/11-sweets-and-candies-that-norwegians-love-to-eat/
ÅÅÅåååhh... that bite over the waffle... 👏🏻 Really impressed by the level up in production quality lately Pål, and really well made with good b-roll and the audio is really clear and nice. Keep it up, see you in the next one 👏🏻
Thanks a lot Thomas! It's not to stick under a chair that it helps having a person who knows how to film along for the ride :) I hope to be a bit more productive this year than the last.
On 2:02, You presented Freia Melkesjokolade, which interested me a lot! I watched this episode with my mom to encourage her to let me go to Norway in the future, especially with famous snacks and drinks so I exactly know other parts of Norwegian food and culture Today, she gave me a surprise. Considering I finished my first year in college, she gave me Freia Melkesjokolade as a gift! I had two bars, it was very tasty! Can't wait to try more Norwegian snacks in the future! Thanks for help giving me a small taste of Norway!
I have eaten lefse since I was a small boy. There are many that make it here as well as myself and I like butter, sugar and a little cinnamon on my lefse
I miss my favorite Norwegian snacks from when I lived in Norway! Thankfully I live in a very Norwegian area and can get many of them here in the United States. I'll have to remind my brother he needs to send me a few bags of Potetskruer, my favorite!! :)
hehe thanks, the sour cream pairs so well with the sweet! All though that particular sour cream is not so sour, it's quite heavy on fat, as it should be :P
Besides Solo almost all of my favourite holiday snacks in one video. Så deilig! :-) Those new videos look great. Hope to see more of them soon. Keep up the good work!
Hi Pal! I made hotdogs in a wrap last night. So good. Hotdogs are my favorite summer food. I hope to see you next year as my Oslo tour guide! Cheers Kindle
Glad I found your channel, it's great😃But I prefer Sveler rather than vaffler. Living in Norway, but born in Germany, I think, the German. YT chefs are stupid, never tried /shown an elg steak or rein on YT. We in Germany like our Gulasch (Hungarian), but try it with elg /rein beef, it's a higher level and Røros rømme🤩

That’s great to hear. Congratulations with finishing your first year in college!
Tusen takk, vennene mine!
You can find lefse in the U.S. bothe homemade, or commercially made by at least 1 company in Wisconsin: Countryside Lefse.
That's great! It's hard to find homemade here, but every supermarket got a pretty good assortment of commercially made (which are mostly quite tasty)

Cool! I hope to try it over there some day as well :)
Lefse...I had that in Minnesota made by my Norwegian friends ( second generation) and I liked it
Glad you had a chance to try it! I know its very popular in Minnesota
Freakin’ AWESOME. Fun and super informative. Many thanks!
Thanks a lot Tim! :)

Hi Rachel! Potetskruer are really yummy! I also like "taffel sticks" or potato sticks as they are called now. :P
A great video! I especially like the waffle - it made my stomach growl 😂 even with sour cream on it!

Thanks Philipp! Already got footage for a few episodes ready, so more will come soon :)
It all sounds delicious! And you’re videos are great! They “take me back” to Norway until I can actually go back 😊
Thank you, tusen takk Marie, that is very nice to hear :) I hope you'll make it back here soon!
Yummy Vaffel and Brown cheese 😍
Yes, so good :P
I so enjoy Jarlesberg Cheese and also Gjetost or Brown Cheese. I like the same brand that you like and we also can buy that here in America
Great! I tried it over there once, and it was named Ski Queen . Same taste as our gudbrandsdalsost 😋
Will be looking for those snacks!!
You won't regret it! :)

Great! Perhaps we could try some of these food types when we meet in Oslo :)
Yum!!!!!
😋😋😋
I love grocery shopping when traveling! Your snack choices look great
Is there any gluten free snacks in Oslo?
There is a lot of gluten free snacks in Oslo. Haralds Vaffel got gluten free waffles. Baker Hansen is a great place for gluten free pastry :)

Svele is quite good, but does not beat a waffle ;)
Pal, du er kanalen jeg har lett etter!
Så hyggelig å høre :)
