The second week of the Lao farmers market at Oy Lao Store was held on Saturday, October 5th, 2024. People came out to enjoy delicious Lao food and buy fresh fruit and vegetables.

I’m so happy to see Lao people are getting more active in California. I really miss the diversity of southeast Asians from 80s-90s. So many Lao people moved away from Fresno.

I’m unable to see the flyer for the October 12, 2024, Flood Aid Fundraiser for Laos on the screen. I’d be happy to share the flyer in WA. Has a donation website been set up? Additionally, could you explain how the funds will be managed? As you know, transparency regarding financial matters has not always been well-practiced in Laos.

Yak hua no. Konbannok an pha sa Lao bo day! I'm a Vietnamese born in Lao and I can read/figure out Lao writing after a few seconds. (1) is Khao Poon $12, (2) Cheun Kuoi (fried bananas) $5. (3) I think is Nem Khao $8. Am I right? Men bo phi nong?
