When i mix Gris Dior and Dioriviera together I get major head turning high-end rich bish compliments. I'm constantly having to right both of them down for people. I layered Amber Nuit and Holiday Hour today and they were absolutely gorgeous together. Even I was surprised.

I agree about Dior being my favorite house. I would also add how they cater to men as well instead of making everything unisex leaning feminine or just feminine like Chanel. Demachy made a lot of masterpieces for that house.

I have a sample of RT and I like it a lot. For me, the combination of berries and musk makes it perfect to wear around Christmas time. I don’t know why, maybe because of the berries. I love Jasmine Des Anges and La Colle Noir ( I own both and I own the body creams as well) . I Love jasmine and roses. Would you please review Holy Peony and Rose Gypsy in part 2?
Rouge trafalgar is so good. And it's a beauty to use for perfume layering.. I love mixing it with other perfumes to come up with truly unique head turner combinations 😊🔥 I think you can use it all year round though, not just X-mas 😉 I am aiming to cover as many in the Maison Christian Dior Collection as possible, so there will be a part 2 and might even be a part 3. We´ll see 🙏✌
As a owner of feve and mitzah I really enjoyed this one 👍 did you mean best 'designer' fragrance house in the world? you could argue TF gives them a good run for their money in being far more creative in recent years, with most of Dior's best fragrances at 10+ years old and more mass appealing, play it safe scents 🤷♂️.... even though I'm a fan of theirs (excl sauvage) imo they just aren't in the same league as niche houses like, MFK, Frederic Malle, etc.
Hey Andrew! How you doin? Tom Ford is right up there. You are correct! But I do think I reach for Dior fragrances more often than any other brand.. Tom Ford is probably close behind 😀 What I like about Dior (both their "regular" collections (with the fahrenheits, Sauvages, etc) and the Maison Christian Dior collection is that they are well-made and very approachable. Yes, a lot of them are "safe" but they are extremely well made and high quality and a lot of them smell fantastic.. Can't complain about that 🙌 I LOVE polarizing and perfumes that are "different" so I have no problem wearing less "mass appealing" fragrances (have a ton of those), but I truly dislike some of the creations from some niche houses that are expensive AF and hardly wearable.. Just because something is niche doesnt mean it's good 😉 Feve is FAB and I'm so bummed out I can't find a new bottle of Mitzah.. Would have been awesome since I enjoyed it so much. Enjoy it to the fullest 🙌😀

Also tried a few testers i got from Dior. And by watching this video im really looking foward in trying Rouge Trafalgar.
Ngl, Gris Dior's opening was not it for me. I almost gave it to my mother in law because it didn't feel like my age range. An hour later, I couldn't stop sniffing my hand for the rest of the evening. It just got better and better. So i just ordered a bottle for myself today😁

My favorite fragrances from this line are (in this exact order): Dioramour, Eden Roc, Rose Kabuki, La Colle Noir, Amber Nurit, Vanilla Diorama, Rouge Trafalgar, Fève Delicieuse, New Look 1947, and Jasmin des Anges. Yesterday I ordered their latest release as of Nov/2021, Soufflé de Soie - a blind buy. I really like the notes, and I hope I’ll enjoy the perfume.

But for my birthday I will treat myself to Santal Noir and Oud Ispahan. I recently smelt Santal Noir for the first time it’s absolutely delicious and expensive smelling, it reminds me of Dubai! I recently smelt Rouge Trafalgar but I wasn’t blown away and didn’t like the smell. I however had smelled many perfumes before it on the day, so I want to smell it again with a fresh nose

@@massimilianob9098 You are going for the strongest and most polarizing of them all from the get go! I like it 😉 I love both vanilla diorama and feve. Feve is way more sweet and the sweetness it has got more layers to it than Vanilla Diorama.. But it's heavier scent profile also makes it less versatile than Vanilla Diorama. I absolutely LOVE Feve but I do not wear it that often. Vanilla Diorama is on the other hand a fantastic vanilla that is lighter and less heavy sweet which makes it easier to wear more often and it's also a true beauty when it comes to layering! I have friends which also feel the same way about Feve.. They love it but do not use it that often. It's a hard choice but think of which one you would most likely use the most before you decide 😊 Both are awesome though👌

Nice segment! First bottle I got was Lucky. Gives me a crisp greenish floral that in enjoy our the humid weather. I also like the story behind the name. I’m addicted go Feve but have only got decants of it so far. But I keep finding myself reach for it. Might need a full bottle. I wore gris Dior travelling but couldn’t detect the notes very well. I’ll test out santal noir and Trafalgar. Sacred wood by kilian is my absolute favourite so I’m always looking for more sandalwood fragrances. Are there any others I should hunt out?

It is amazing how different tastes we can have. I think I remember you disliking like the whole range of zoologist, while liking eden-roc and vanilla diorama which some people hate a lot. I think i like vanilla diorama but im not sure if i should :D
Hi! I didn't dislike the entire Zoologist range, but definitely some 😉 I'm thinking of trying them again one day soon and see how I feel about them. Eden-roc and vanilla diorama are both great scents. Extremely high quality and simply gorgeous. Not sure why anyone would hate on them to be honest. The only bad thing about the exclusive dior perfumes are the price. They've always been quite high and Dior increased their prices last year as well. The scents themselves are stellar though. There's a quality to them that is not present in most other brands. It will be interesting to see how their new scents come out in the future though as Francois Demachy (perfumer) stepped down, with Francis Kurkdjian now in charge. Hoping for the best!
Tobacolors scent is partially influenced by the color of tobacco. The ingredients typical color is associated with it placement, from yellowish honey, to yellow red orange peach, to dark red plum with this being pretty much the spectrum of tobacco colors. At least that's how I understood the concept

I know some of them can be bought on Dior's website but I believe they do not sell directly in some countries. I always recommend finding a Dior beauty store as they can usually be found there. So check the website and if that does not work check if you have a dior store near you? Good luck! 😊
Dear Mr Rotten Rebel, which 1 preferably or 3 of your MOST favorite perfumes which are suitable for unisex (I am a straight man) out of this Dior Privée collection! I need to decide on one to buy for myself.
That's a tough one because this line has some of the best perfumes in the world. But Santal Noir, Tobacolor, Ambre Nuit, rouge trafalgar and Feve Deliciouse are 5 fantastic ones.

I think Vanilla Diorama is a fantastic scent and like I mentioned in my previous reply, it's VERY tough to just select a few. 😊 I do think I would prefer tobacolor over Vanilla Diorama regardless of previous rating because it's just PACKED with so much personality. Vanilla Diorama is a fab scent though and perfect for someone who wants a well-blended vanillic scent 😊

I have the l'homme ideals which I absolutely love and I think most (but not all) in the LES ABSOLUS D'ORIENT collection are 👌 Cuir Intense is 🔥 The thing with a lot of guerlains is that they are not easy to find and try (or even buy). Not all their own stores carry all of the scents and not all resellers online carry the brand/all of their scents. I will try out more Guerlains this year and it's going to be a lot of fun to see what more the brand has 😊 Appreciate the suggestions! 🙏🙏🙏
@@rottenrebels For their prices, they are cheaper than Dior in all of their perfume lines With regard to their availability or not, I do not know in which country you live, because it is very absurd that all the perfumes of this giant and very old house, Guerlain, are not available. You can request divisions or samples from international locations and have them shipped to you I highly advise you to try their own perfumes. I am not speaking out of thin air, but rather from a very large experience. Guerlain and Tom Ford are the most beautiful designer brands. Their perfumes are amazing. You will know this when you try

Jasmin des Anges and Rouge Trafalgar are my favorites.
Santal Noir is a successful take on Ambre Nuit. I like AN a bit more though as it is more oriental and SN is more syrupy to my taste.

The ingredients typical color is associated with it placement, from yellowish honey, to yellow red orange peach, to dark red plum with this being pretty much the spectrum of tobacco colors. At least that's how I understood the concept

I know some of them can be bought on Dior's website but I believe they do not sell directly in some countries.
I always recommend finding a Dior beauty store as they can usually be found there. So check the website and if that does not work check if you have a dior store near you? Good luck! 😊
Dear Mr Rotten Rebel, which 1 preferably or 3 of your MOST favorite perfumes which are suitable for unisex (I am a straight man) out of this Dior Privée collection! I need to decide on one to buy for myself.
That's a tough one because this line has some of the best perfumes in the world. But Santal Noir, Tobacolor, Ambre Nuit, rouge trafalgar and Feve Deliciouse are 5 fantastic ones.

@@adamr9570 Hi again! Things change over time. Sometimes a little, sometimes a lot. I think Vanilla Diorama is a fantastic scent and like I mentioned in my previous reply, it's VERY tough to just select a few. 😊 I do think I would prefer tobacolor over Vanilla Diorama regardless of previous rating because it's just PACKED with so much personality. Vanilla Diorama is a fab scent though and perfect for someone who wants a well-blended vanillic scent 😊

The thing with a lot of guerlains is that they are not easy to find and try (or even buy). Not all their own stores carry all of the scents and not all resellers online carry the brand/all of their scents.

@@rottenrebels For their prices, they are cheaper than Dior in all of their perfume lines With regard to their availability or not, I do not know in which country you live, because it is very absurd that all the perfumes of this giant and very old house, Guerlain, are not available. You can request divisions or samples from international locations and have them shipped to you I highly advise you to try their own perfumes. I am not speaking out of thin air, but rather from a very large experience. Guerlain and Tom Ford are the most beautiful designer brands. Their perfumes are amazing. You will know this when you try
