To be honest, I’m just impressed that you keep them active, outside and healthy all day. A lot of parents nowadays let an iPad do their parenting for them but it’s clear that your kids would much rather be at the park and at the beach with you. Good for you mate!

As someone who loved to mess with dad’s stuffs when I was younger, let me tell you that I knew not the value of things in my hand. I just noticed the reluctant in my dad’s face when I begged for the expensive stuff compared to when it was a cheap stuff. If he was obviously nervous, then I know THAT thing was a good sh*t and that was really just all to it 😂 The more chaotic the merrier

I wish you were my dad. And not in any weird way... you just seem like such a cool guy and a very good dad and it makes me happy for your family and just a little bit sad about mine.
me too, i’m born and bred in nz, but growing up, i was jealous of all my kiwi friends (i’m asian kiwi) who had cool dads who did cool outdoors stuff when them and taught them how to do stuff (not saying that all kiwi families r perfect and asian families aren’t tho it was that in my case tho. all my asian kiwi friends also didn’t have a father presence)
So sorry about that. I wish I had a dad like him too. Who would treat me like a human being. At least I will try to be the best dad, if I ever have children.

Your kids are so cute. Pretty good camera shots from them as well. It's always good to teach them at a young age so at one point you don't have to hold the camera anymore.
You are such an Amazing Dad to your girls & Husband to How to Mom. Watching your videos every week makes me laugh, smile, & miss New Zealand a lot. When you vlog all over New Zealand it also reminds me of the amazing time that my husband & I spent in your beautiful country.
My husband & I got married April 2012 & we paid for our whole wedding ourselves. So from 2012 we saved $$$$ to do our Honeymoon in New Zealand Sept.19-Oct.2, 2016. After our 2 weeks honeymoon in New Zealand, we found out 3 weeks later we were pregnant with baby #1. On December 20, 2016, Jensen Royce Barba was born & became an Angel. I miscarried at 13 Weeks & 5 days. We called him our lil Kiwi.
This year we got pregnant with baby #2 in May 2017. We found out it was a boy & we named him Falcon Enrique Barba. We named him Falcon bc I am a bird watcher & my favorite bird of prey is a Peregrine Falcon. Also the name Falcon we got from Star Wars Millennium Falcon bc my husband & I are Star Wars fans & we love the space vehicles in the movie.
On September 26, 2017 Falcon was born & became an Angel. We suffered another great loss. I miscarried at 19 weeks & 7 days. It's been 2 weeks since we lost our son. 😢 We lost both of our sons bc my amniotic sac ruptured spontaneously & I went into labor. I didnt have fever, infection, or bleeding & my babies vitals is healthy. With all the testings we did with our 1st son & now 2nd our son, my high-risk ob doctors can't figure out why my amniotic sac ruptured again. My vitals & our babies vitals are normal & healthy. We did autopsy for genetic testing & other testings & it came back normal. The doctors said there is no answer in why it happened & that they will do their best when we try for more babies in the future.
I want to thank you for making family videos. It gives my husband & I hope. We love how you & your family spend time with each other & love each other so much. It inspires my husband & I to keep our heads up despite the heartache of losing our 2 sons. We Love & Miss our 2 boys so much. We keep hoping that one day we will have more children & that we will be able to spend a lot of time with them, raise them, & love them so very much the way you do with your family. ☺

They’re called “Fort”... they are pillow, blanket, chair-cushion, rug “forts”...made strictly from any item found in the house. Childhood innovations for fighting the boredom of being stuck inside on a rainy day. Did it all the time. “She’ll be right”...huge enjoyment here. Thanks.

In New York, we call blanket over the couch a "fort" not a "hut." PS I used to have a weekly chart of activities and a daily routine. On Fridays we would always do the same activity, like go to the pool at a certain place, with each day having a specified special place to go. Before school, the kids and I always played a game like nerf baseball in the house.
