    yes contracting is great. there are good and bad sides, some people don't like having to look for a job every few months. i'm realising now i'm not in a contract i need to take time out for myself, get fit, do some gardening, create something. If you want more money, and also need breaks, contracting is good. But you are expected to deliver, and you don't have to be involved in office politics. i think the work place needs people like you! If everyone who is a bit different, is worried about bullying, office cliques etc and stays at home under a duvet the world would be a dull place. I work in government and i've seen a blind lady come to work with her guide dog, i've seen a man in a wheel chair, i worked with a blind man who uses a special type writer when i was in the ADHD ward at denmark hill. If they can get up to work every morning, i don't have an excuse. I'm starting to wonder if climbing the ladder is worth it either!!

    I'm starting to wonder if quitting the rat race and having an alternative business like selling things on Etsy, Amazon etc is better than slogging 8 hours a day in the office
