the snares sound so cool with that amount of reverb. there's no better sound in the world than hearing a pipe band echoing back at you, i can't explain it. i've been to hundreds of metal gigs but a live pipe band is still the best sound i've ever heard. or maybe "felt" is the word
@@brad5983 Bagpipes are a huge part of Scottish culture. When many think of bagpipes, they think of Scotland, or Scottish pipes playing in the Scottish Highlands. There's plenty of bagpipes native to Scotland. Among them, the Great Highland Bagpipe is the most well-known worldwide.
@@brad5983 You're right..."bigpipes" aren't Scottish. Not even sure that's a thing...😂 Gtfo. And hate to break it to you, cupcake, but when people hear BAGpipes they tend to think of Scotland as it is a massive part of Scottish history. Your a "special" one, huh?
That was brilliant folks, I bet everyone watching felt as great as everyone playing. It is the victories in life we remember - this is a great victory folks, well done.
Does anybody have footage of the crowd cheering afterwards? I'm sure they did. Truly one of the most soul-rousing things I've ever seen in my life. It's really beyond description how beautiful it was. Well done to those boys and girls, what an achievement to bring such pride to so many people!
I lived and worked in NYC for 20 years and arrived at and left from GCT* every day for 11 of those years. *GCT is Grand Central Terminal. It's not a Station, because trains don't arrive there from somewhere and then go on to somewhere else. It's the final stop for all Metro North train lines into the City and the place from which all of those trains going out of the City start.
Geez! Why the snide remark? Yes, we wanted to self-govern but we are still very proud of our heritage and honestly owe much to our homeland. It's our way of showing respect.

Fantastic , well done laddies and lassies 👍
Fabulous!
Americans luv the Scots. Sound was a bit iffy if u ask me, but they are at New York central. Better hall the sounds amazing.
Of course the sound is iffy. They’re at a train station. Not built to make acoustics sound better from bands randomly deciding to play.
Spectacular
Bravo! 👌 🏴🏴🏴🇬🇧❤️
