I just did this! It turned out perfect! Even i messed up my dough cuz it was still wet after 15mins of kneading. I just added more flour than required, and followed the rest of the instruction! Overall, the texture is soft and fluffy. Highly recommendable recipe.

I tried this one last night and it was perfect! It’s really soft and fluffy! I put it in the fridge so every time I want to eat it, I just heat it up in the microwave for 20sec and it’s always the same like it’s fresh from the oven! Ginawa ko po yan kagabi im so happy po kasi nagawa ko po ng maayos. Marami rin po nasarapan. Yung 1 month imarflex mixer ko po umusok haha mali ko kasi di ata kaya yung dami ng ginawa ko. Pero okay lang. Sobra happy at satisfied ako sa gawa ko lalo na sa newbie kagaya ko.

I tried this recipe last night and it was AMAZING! I live in the US and it’s so hard to get fresh Filipino baked goods (or they’re not that good). I rarely ever post comments online but just had to tell you THANK YOU for this recipe. I was inspired to try it after I tried your brazo recipe for Christmas and it was a hit. I’ve tried a couple of other ensaymada recipes too but they weren’t as good as this one. Love your videos; so inspiring! Hope to visit your restaurant next time I visit the Philippines. I agree with you. A lot of enterprising Pinay or Pinoys make the goodies and they know what they are doing. The big BUT is binabarat ang ingredients, modified ang recipe para malaki ang profit. Tuloy hindi masarap. This is true with all pinoy dishes kaya ang mga kano dito sa states are not liking it, hindi dinadayo ang Pilipino restaurants madaling magsara.

Naku Chef! salamat sa lahat ng mga sinabi mo. dami kong natutunan. narealize ko lahat ng mga maling ginawa ko nung nagbake ako ng tinapay nung quarantine hahaha nagkakaubusan ng bread sa grocery noon kaya pinagaralan kong mag bake, masarap ang lasa pero di ko mafigure out paanong paalsahin ng maayos. sinukuan ko bread making. thank god di na ulit out of stock ng bread sa grocery lol lahat ng mga sinabi mo ginawa ko ng mali kaya pala hahaha

chef ilang grams po ang instant dry yeast?
yung mga measurements makikita mo sa upper-right hand corner ng screen habang binabanggit nya. nga lang walang measurement nilagay sa yeast. hehe! ...hindi kasi masyado pansin maliit lang eh tapos white pa yung font. well lagi naman ganun style nya kaya nexf time alam mo na kung saan hahanapin measurements. 😉

Hello Chef RV. I am half Filipino and half American. My parents have long past away but I miss a lot of my moms cooking and baking. My mom taught me Kari Kari, Pancit Lug Lug, Bibinka Malagkit and others but I still miss so much. You are so entertaining to watch. Naku Chef! salamat sa lahat ng mga sinabi mo. dami kong natutunan. narealize ko lahat ng mga maling ginawa ko nung nagbake ako ng tinapay nung quarantine hahaha nagkakaubusan ng bread sa grocery noon kaya pinagaralan kong mag bake, masarap ang lasa pero di ko mafigure out paanong paalsahin ng maayos. sinukuan ko bread making. thank god di na ulit out of stock ng bread sa grocery lol lahat ng mga sinabi mo ginawa ko ng mali kaya pala hahaha
