As long as there is a political party pledging to show more loyalty to a single man, than they do their constituents, or the country. As long as that party shows fealty to one man and follow the beliefs, ideas, bigotry, and hateful discrimination that is based on his xenophobia, then what else matters? What are we fighting for, Democracy or Dictatorship? The right to speak freely, act in accordance with personal beliefs within what the law allows, and so many other rights are at risk just because we have a majority of a political party pledging allegiance to a convicted felon (apparently with Supreme Court justices also betraying the Constitution and the country [allegedly]), an adjudicated civilly-liable sexual offender, pathological liar, malignant narcissist … and so on… I know these issues are important. I know the work of the government must go on. But with Congress, and many in the courts, providing fealty only to this one man, then the rest of Congress is tilting at windmills.
For Ms. Mace, I do have a degree in a medical field. I have taken biology, zoology, anatomy, and therapeutics. And, I hate to tell you (well, really, I don’t hate it), biological sex is not as simple as boy, or girl. Nature occasionally produces people with, instead of XY (boy), and XX (girl), XXY (girl or boy?), XYY (boy or girl), and intersex individuals.
No one should be discriminated based on sex (which is not so simple as boy or girl), or based on race, creed, religious belief, or political affiliation. Until color of skin isn’t a factor, isn’t given more weight than education, talent, or skill. Until woman are recognized as equal to men and received the same pay for the same job, then DEI initiatives are important.

If she does indeed think we should follow the science, she should know that sex has FIVE determining factors, only one of which is externally visible, and also non-binary. Often confused with gender, a performative social construct that varies by culture, and was likely created _because_ biological sex is so dang hard to pin down.
