Honestly, the title of Overlord doesnt hold much weight as people would think. The average demon is stronger than most humans but humans like Gordon and Jennifer can fight on par with Laharl, because the beauty of Disgaea is that there is no barriers to how strong one can become. In plot characters in Disgaea are way stronger than in game. In D1 Laharl by himseld can take on an entire galatic fleet of Millions of ships but in game he struggles to take out the cannons of the main ship, human soldiers need a battle to be dispathed etc.
heck you can easily scale them even further and say most if not everyone in the franchise has at least some level of toon force since when they fight and destroy everything they show up like nothing ever happened on the field on some looney tunes type shit
Nah, they absolutely do. Sicily can trap Star Level to Multiverse level threats in a cardboard box. Demons that CAN fly falling into holes created by certain skills. Like the the arrow skill that cuts a hole under an enemy and the enemy falls like a looney toon character.
just out and curiousity (and a random dude on facebook) i wanna ask, is any of diasgea character capable of surviving Yogiri Takatou's ability which can put an end to literally anything in and out of existence ?
Idk, there is a bunch of conflicting statements for feats as stated. Red Magnus says that when he had his power, he was even able to split a planet, which all the other plot characters agree is impressive but assumed was an excuse. Being impressed by a planetary statement if even the bottom tiers are star level is a bit odd. Later, Christo is completely shocked that Killia was able to block Bloodis' attack, claiming it was strong enough to blow away a mountain. Killia blocking a mountain level attack shouldn't be such a shock if he is actually large star/universal casually.
I didn't think of it that way but all the demons in Disgaea are op. But my only complaint is that Laharl is the only character to canonically defeat Baal and Baal is the strongest demon to exist. Would this info change your assessment?

Finally someone gives this series some love that isnt me lol. (Note I havent played disgaea 5 yet so this is news to me about killia full power)
