I got emotional watching your video today. For one it is so beautifully shot, the colors and composition are wonderful. Then the subject matter is so peaceful. What I think really affected me though is that in the US we don’t learn anything about most other countries, and the images we get about Pakistan reduce it to a fearful place- but your video was showing that that image is a lie and that you have a beautiful culture and place :)

I use planters to grow many food items . The small cherry tomatoes do well in a planter, green beans and peas do well. Youbcould see if ali will build you a box 4 meters wide as long as you want to make it at lease 2 meters deep. Line with a plastic sheet with holes for water drainage that go in a direction away from the center of your patio. Put a thin layer of gravel and charcoal. Then fill with a mix of top soil fertilizer suitable for vegetables and lime Right up to the top. Inwould grow herbs especially mint in one end . Green onions for fresh eating, leaf letuce, radish, and ever bearing 🍓, these will bear fruit all summer, keep up with them as they like to take over.maybe some carrots, celery . They also make planters that stack on eachother, grow bags. Growbags are good for potatoes. And other root vegetables. Larger tomato types along the back of the box along a trellis so they can be tied up and take less space. I also plant pumpkin or squash along the edge so they hang over the side the fruit grows outside the box on a runners you can do the same for zucchini and cucumbers. You can find the grow bags and stackable planters for sale on line. You might get enough herbs to dry for seasionings and tea right away your first year. My top herbs are basil, dill weed, oregano, rosemary and thyme. Cilantro is easy to grow in planters too. trees that grow well in planters, lemons, limes, mandarin oranges, they will be smaller than normal but will still produce a lot of fruit. Garlic can be put in the planter box in the fall and ready to harvest the following summer .

Safi , if you put trays / dishes under the pot plants and fill them with water , the plants will draw the water up and as it dries it encourages the roots to go down following the water resulting in a stronger , hardier plant .

The only pickles I have made over the last few months, was a gallon jar of boiled eggs and Beets.
Pickled eggs keep me from reaching for sweets. The beets compliment the flavor of the eggs. I add a touch of nutmeg,
Almost time to make another jar!

These are my favorite types of videos where we are invited to spend time with you in the intimacy of your home and feel like we're sharing the day with you, even to wash the dishes is relaxing 😅. And i think the simple joy you find in henna is awesome. One of my favorite things to snack on is Persian cucumbers with crispy chili oil. It's so delicious I eat them as is or as a side dish to a meal. I hope you pursue the goal of planning a small garden. Maybe a raised garden, which is very popular these days, would be nice since you have all that space in your backyard. Take care of yourselves and be safe! I can't wait for the next video as always ❤

Safia, the music and ASMR effects of this remind me of a channel from Japan called "Nami's Life", but I like this even more because we feel like we somewhat "know" you two from the other channel
Plus, you include lots of shots of the patio and the outdoors. 🙂

I know of pickles but that looks very good as a side item I'm not aware of but only one kind of pickle
I'm aware of mint also would love to mix with orange or lemon
We also make sun tea and just leave a large glass container with it out
It'd be very helpful to develop your own wifi signal to alleviate the wifi slowdowns, we americans can HELP
No, carry on FRIENDS! none of us need all the usual hustles
Well dip tortillas into soups and stuff more often than that it's buttered bread not tortillas

I love the iby pattern on the curtains. And it might seem silly (or basic, to them), but the pattern on the coasters and cutting board would be fun to get over here. Instead, we always have designs that reflect our environment

@@AliSafiaduo How are things lately with you? I hope you're well.
I've been watching Indian Matchmaking. It's so different from the Jewish Matchmaking series. I don't know if you've had a chance yet to watch JMM yet. I expected some differences, because of course the cultural differences are there. But the whole vibe, and the whole philosophy on relationships, and the spirituality... to put it succinctly, it's not like the difference between "America's Got Talent" and "Britain's Got Talent". It's really eye-opening.
I was in a very brief relationship with someone from India. From this series, I understand a little bit more about the stark differences in romantic relationships between my culture and Indian culture. I see more clearly now why the relationship didn't work out. That's not to say the two cultures are incompatible, of course. It's just that the understanding wasn't there.
