- Whilst most of the fighting during the Battle of Britain took place in the air above the South of England and the English Channel, Yorkshire made its own contribution to Britain's victory. This video is quite old and not up to my usual standards, but I'm glad that people still find value in it.
I wish all the young people today shared your obvious love of your country and pride in it’s achievements. Well done.
Excellent video. Well done. This young Lady is obviously proud of her country, made it so refreshing to watch.
Informative as always.
This Yank and WWII buff loved this sooo much, thank you kindly! Heading to Yorkshire in a couple of weeks, and this gets me excited to see airfields and whatnot.
You young lady are BRILLIANT!!
doing travel research for Yorkshire and found this! what a great video, this young lady did such a great job! Well done!
Only found this August 2024, quite impressed, well done.
As an Irishman whose father worked in the armaments industry in England during WW2, I always appreciate this sort of presentation.
Great video! Thanks very much! :-D Loved the RAF uniform! You must have a very varied wardrobe ;-)
Excellent video. Thanks for your work. Look forward to your next video.
I don't have any particular association with Yorkshire, but your presentations are always lighthearted, entertaining and very informative.
Cheers!
This was a exellent video, is there no end to your talent, this was undoubtedly your finest hour.
That one was one of your best. Your videos are a lot of fun.

I went to the museum at Biggin Hill a couple of months ago, really interesting place and well worth a visit if you haven't already been
Fantastic video always fun with you :)
My paternal grandfather worked as a mechanical engineer for the RAF. He was in a reserved occupation, so didn’t get conscripted. My maternal grandfather served in France and Italy.
Dowding deserves great credit for his choice not to sacrifice more of the RAF to the defence of France as it became clear this was hopeless.
My Mum was a war bride who came to Canada in 1947. I recall talking to her on the phone in 1990 during the time of the Iraq war. I told her that the coalition had bombed Baghdad 46 straight nights. She replied 'Hitler bombed us in London 57 straight nights' Great site you have here.
Very nicely done. Props to modifying Arthur Harris’s famous quote (recently also modified by Ukrainians on Social Media swapping ‘boob’ with ‘invade’ due to Kursk).
Also aside from the comprehensive look at all aspects, to include Bomber Commands role does something usually overlooked in most documentaries.
When did the Dambusters raid become part of the Battle of Britain
You look good in your flying gear.....maybe you should join the RAF.
Are you going to study history at Uni ;)
Nice female pilot😋
Another soap opera about the BoB.
