Reminds me of the convenient way New York Central Railroad had loaded/unloaded their trailers during the 1950s. They employed Flexi-Van bogies and flat cars that were outfitted with turntables.
Thanks for the comment. We are not aware of a Tilt Trailer that can side shift itself the way the Mobilizer does as shown in this video. The ContainGo Flat Rack, which is designed for use with the Mobilizer, allows the trailer to haul a variety of items.
Give us a call at 931-853-2555 for more info. It is the ContainGo Container Mobilizer Trailer. We have a couple different pricing options depending on your applications. Thank you for taking the time to watch our video.
It’s rare indeed that a large enough forklift is available …8’ forks wow ! Even with a forklift, visibility is a little spooky. Been there done that😊 Thanks for your input
Yes, the container in this video is empty. It is a full side open container weighing about 7000 lbs. empty. The trailer can handle loaded containers up to 18,000 lbs.
The truck does not need to reverse. We routinely put the truck in neutral and use the wheels of the trailer to pull the rig backwards. Because it is anchored with the base of the container, this can easily and safely be operated by a solo driver.
As was mentioned, this is a demonstration video highlighting the use of the side-shift system. In our experience, there are many times when inline access to a container is not possible. You would need a crane or heavy duty forklift. Our side-shift system solves this problem.
@@marshallcrosby5190 I did watch teh video, or I wouldn’t have made the comment! Either you need to watch the video and see how he got it 95% of the way to where it needs to be and stopped short for demo purposed (….which he said he did!). My point was, that if a delivery driver can get it that close, they can get it the rest of the way there. AGAIN, I said it was a nice tool to add, but more often than not, not needed by a skilled delivery driver (as he seemed to be since it got it so close BEFORE using his contraption). Come on Man! You’re really showing yourself now!
@@talonpilot thanks , point well taken … however a lot less forward and reverse . Maybe a better example of the value is the drone footage . Being parked and someone parked behind. To side shift the loaded trailer out of that spot is remarkable . Also see the flat rack attachment. And the attachable wheels . Not for everyone but certainly nice option . Sometimes it’s difficult to get the load on straight … no problem with the side shift.
The Mobilizer is very helpful when you cannot line up straight to a container. The Side Shift allows the trailer to move itself over to load a container.
In this video an empty 20' shipping container is being loaded. The Mobilizer Trailer can transport empty or loaded containers weighing up to 18,000 lbs.

Helmets prevent head injuries. They are designed to protect from impacts to the top and side of the head. Helmets can also protect against bumps, scrapes, and electrical exposure. Yes, if a large object were to drop on your head, a helmet may not matter, however, if a smaller object were to do the same, your helmet could save your life. We don't see anything wrong with taking proper precautions when working on-site.
This video demonstrates that this trailer can operate in small spaces (as little as 25 feet), unlike other trailers that require 120 feet of clearance. In places like crowded urban neighborhoods or disaster zones, where emergencies like hurricanes, tornadoes, or wildfires occur, emergency services need to set up forward operating areas to store and organize emergency supplies, materials, and equipment. That is what this trailer was designed for.

That is incredible , awesome
The Mobilizer Trailer is patented in several countries in Europe and can be shipped. If you would like to find out more visit: www.containgo.com
Very cool ! I would like to own one of those trailers!
Nice
Que equipamentos nota 10 .
Isto e de primeira qualidade.
Tem vaga para trabalhar aí com este equipamento estou aqui no Brasil.
Top top top....veri good
Thank you very much for your comment. The Mobilizer is a great tool when containers are in tight spots.
What is the price for a trailer going for?
A tilt tray can do the same thing & also transport all sorts of other things & only one rego.

F
And how does that thing come off? Gravity?😅
Yes your correct, ultimately it is gravity. The winch helps the process by controlling the speed of decent.
That's cute. Now do a 40 footer.
We are working on it.
How much for the trailer ? What’s it called?

All that, and there's a forklift sitting right there.
Using the forklift would defeat the purpose of showing you what the trailer can do without a forklift.

Ein leerer Container bestimmt

Hats off the the engineering involved, but it takes 2 people (guy reversing the truck)

Anyone else cringe at how close he stands to the cable? SNAP! 😱
Hey there, are you referring to the cable with a lift capacity of 30,000 lbs? Not clear what you’re referring to???
It’s actually not a cable. It’s 30k Kevlar. Thanks for your comment. Doesn’t stretch, no danger as from a cable.
Why wouldn’t you just back the trailer in place? I mean it’s a neat addition to your tool bag but come on!
To back up you need talent which this guy does not have.

What's with wearing the helmet what with this obsession with helmets now.? Won't save you if anything big falls on u... or it will just fall off.

Demo footage.
Don't like that that's tight
