Hey guys, I don't really ask to ever share my videos, but please share this one, let's pull together as a community and find Zac the home he needs, the best way we can do that is by getting video seen by as many people as possible!
Done #findZacahome
I would love to adopt him. However. I'm in the Southern California. I have a Seal Pointe Cat going on 6 who thinks he's a Guard Cat(Dog) and a Korean Jindo mix who is 12 now. Got him at 6mos in 2009 from the shelter, very active and now he considers himself as a lap dog although he is not small. Lol! 65lb wonder!. Anyway, I pray Zac gets a home soon. I love that Zac let's you take the ball back. My Maha Raja won't. So we have to use the ball holder or really trick him very quickly to grab the ball and throw it immediately. Ballbhog for sure! 😅
Zac and my Raja look alike except Raja is a little smaller in stature.
Hi - I can give him a loving home and time and exercise he needs. How do I enquire to rehome him?
@@dharamsingh6827 There is a phone number in the video description to call and inquire about him.
I wish he was younger! I'm beginning my journey as a dog handler and am looking for a working line shepherd/doberman/rottie/Mali. He's gourgous I hope he finds his forever home!
Update: I called in to enquire about Zac and he's been adopted!! The power of the internet
I was " I want him "....! But, now i cant, good to see he found a home tho.
That's great news! :)
Best news all day!! ❤️
Dang, I found this video way too late. Thanks for the update though. I wish Zac and his new family the best.
Wonderful news!
As much as I wish I had sent my dog to Brandon for training before bringing him home ruclips.net/user/postUgkx1_veP7CApJK_GWy_TczaMciuG64PqJeU I am so grateful for this down-to-earth, practical guide. His training techniques and tips really work. Thank you as well for dedicating your life's work to rescue dogs, and to rescuing those of us who want the very best for our 4-legged family members.
A phenomenal GSD. If that's his obedience level after all that time has passed, after all that's happened to him, then imagine after even just a few weeks of dedicated even mere "refresher-type" training to start. That whining is seen in a lot of working GSD's. It just indicates his desire to work/reward. You will clearly be able to teach that "old dog" all sorts of new tricks, to do anything. Wow. What a GSD. I just love him.
I also got a working class old German Shepherd and can confirm, when they get excited while playing or when we hide things in the garden for them to find they get sooo excited 😁 all they want is working or being near you, such an amazing breed.
@@TheTwistedDesign I'm admittedly biased of course; BUT, you're absolutely right. They ARE an amazing breed
Absolutely beautiful dog. Watching him light up when working him, warms my heart. ❤
What a nice gsd, great focus!! Well trained!! A wolf!!!!❤
I know this is 2 years old, but Zac is BEAUTIFUL, I hope he found a great owner and companion
Great to see how Will uses his platform to help this beautiful boy move on to what will hopefully be his forever-home. :)
I can't see him having 7,or, 8yrs left noway but he's a beautiful boy I pray he finds a good home bless him
8:56 he said " 5 or 6 years".
Will, you are the best, because you care so much and because you are a natural dog person, which is rare. A lot of people can become dog people, but I think you were born that way.
Absolutely stunning lad. Hope he finds the home he deserves!
If it had been possible, I would have given Zac a home in a heart beat. Zac inspires me as to the possibilities of my now 4 year old recently rescued GSD. Now I am getting some serious reductions in reactivity due to poor to no training by the last 2 sets of owners. Sad case, found him in his second shelter after 6 months.Who knows how long the first shelter stay was. Very fearful but luckily not aggressive. Now he has a forever home and I have my reason for walking 2.5 miles a day as demanded by my cardiologist.Neither one of us are alone anymore.
I have a 14 wk old long haired gsd pup. Mostly black with some gold underneath. Hes going to be huge and has that wolfy black shepherd face. Hes working lineage and going to be a beautiful big powerful unit. Seeing Zac as an adult black shepherd is exciting and what a dog he is. Im so glad hes been adopted. Thank you for showing us this awesome boy 💖💖
That's so cool. He's like my working line GSD, and I bet after some reminding he will slip straight back into being a great working dog. He was just so out of practice. Beautiful.
I’m so appreciative you’ve brought the ‘MC Hammer’ pants back. 👍
What a majestic dog
What a gorgeous dog. I have a black female gsd working line. Zac is amazing but he needs to go to the right home - someone with experience or really willing to put the work in. Good luck.
We live in Canada on a 89 acre farm, we lost our old black German Shepard (14 years old) 2 years ago. Would love to have him,
But don’t know how we could get him. God bless him, great dogs
Great news!!🙏
I hope you find Zac a great home.
He’s beautiful
Omg, Canada too and I’d fly him here if it means saving him
I do know a Shepard owner with no children in Edmonton who would be beautiful with him. If you don’t find him a home close by we will find him the right home
Haha at @7:12 the dog was like "Away where?!?! 0_o"
i just found this glorius channel! Sub'd! Did Zack find a home?? Love Will's heart! What a great dog person!!
wish i had seen thsealier i would have loved that dog
Oh man i wish i live in the UK. He is stunning!
That was kind of you, trying to save his life. He's a great looking dog that needs to be exercised daily looks like. Maybe a preemptive neutering would help him decrease his activity level. Js. Great video as usual. Thank you!
Too.
That boy must have wanted someone to take charge and give him a job for so long.
Shared. Only because I can't have him myself.
If you get a dog from a Shelter can it live out sid
Will you need to take the Shepard. You could make his life so much better.
Where exactly is the shelter? Thank you!
There's a link in the description
I actually found this video a bit emotional. This boy found all his direction and leadership from his working line background and I think him whining and jumping was just pure joy and excitement to be stuck back in it again. It was probably comforting and familiar to have someone use his lure and commands. I hope Zac finds a perfect home.
As someone who owns a working line GSD, this dog was showing nothing but pure joy this entire video. You could almost feel the joy in every jump. He needs his forever home and I hope he finds it.
@@shanemichaud3011 he is adopted
He got adopted
@@julierussell8876 That is so good to hear!!! Thanks for the update 🖤
i know it really was a beautiful thing to see 🥺
I'll take em , lifetime gsd owner ex infantry scout k9 . large yard , big park ...
If you trained dogs in the military I feel like this is a perfect fit. Fenrir we found the home!
Sounds like that would be a perfect fit for him! It is so sad that his previous owner died, but if he could get a new owner with that kind of experience in working a dog like him he could still have a lot of good years left in him. I hope this works out, and that he can finally get a new home!
across the pond :/ ...
I really admire his previous owner for training Zac to such a high level and it's very sad that circumstances forced them apart. I'm optimistic that the right person is out there for him and that this will be a story with a happy ending. Please, please will you keep us posted as to the outcome - thank you.
Having read through the comments I'm so happy to see this good boy was adopted after the video. I must say, I really enjoyed seeing your work with Zac and wow, what an absolutely stunning dog.
‘Looks like a wolf’
Me ‘HE LOOKS BLOODY AMAZING’ 😍 he’ll be a cracking dog for a family that’ll give him a job to do
I live in Canada and if could take him, I would. He’s beautiful.
Same here... Though in Peru
Same, also in Canada lol
Please keep us up to date on him.
That has to be one of the most beautiful examples of a German Shepard. Loving seeing your soul glow working and being outside with him. The impact your energy has on these animals and viewers is epic bro
I have a working line gsd as a pet and he’s very good, just need to give them the right training and attention.
I plan on getting a WL gsd as a pet. I think it depends on the lifestyle. I like training my yorkie puppy and she's always on the trail of something being a terrier so plan on doing scent work also she loves hopping and running so might do agility as well (agility when she gets older of course for her joints). I've always wanted a gsd but my mom got me a little yorkie. I love her but rly need a higher energy dog that can handle daily 1+ hour walks and frequent camping. The yorkie will obviously still come I'll just have one of those baby packs to carry her in or mesh dog carrier backpacks so she doesn't miss out when a walk will be to long for her😊
@@AHHHHHH107 you won’t regret it! Just make sure you socialise the gsd EARLY if you get one as we got ours in lockdown , we tried our hardest but now he barks at dogs out on walks, just been able to calm him down but took ages, then your camping will be much more enjoyable 👌🏼
Really hope Zac finds his forever home. The lovely lad deserves it
I live in the US but if he was able to come over here I would adopt this beautiful boy in a heartbeat. He’s absolutely stunning and his sharpness leaves me speechless. You can tell he knows all the commands and polishing those up would be so easy ❤️ someone in the UK give this boy a forever home please
Oh man !! Im totally speechless..I'd take him but I'm in Canada!! Why,on earth. . has nobody adopted him ???? OMG !! What a gorgeous dog!! Ive had GSDs for 50 yrs!! was a breeder in the 80s and 90s and have rescued them for 25 yrs . He's absolutely stunning...top of the line!!..Hope he gets the perfect home he deserves!!
Thank you for this, my working girl is 7 and I can see this good boy’s excellent temperament and focus straight away. I’m so glad he found a home. What a wonderful dog!
I cried like a baby watching this! So glad he found a home.
This reminds me of our old German shepherd who passed away last year. She was a beast and could run 10 miles off the leach, her head would never leave my left knee. Rip to her
I wish i had experience with GSD's id take him in a heartbeat! Even being in the US, no problem. My husband has the experience but is working 12 plus hours a day at the hospital and who knows when that will end. Ill keep tabs though and if his hours change and he gets back to 7-3:30 and Zach is still available, he'll be ours!
He's the kind of dog that makes people love German Shepherds.
Beautiful boy, so so sad he has lost his owner who knew & understood him & to have been passed from pillar to post. He seems to have everything going for him, intensity of focus, beautiful manners & a deep willingness to work & please, & only needs love & understanding. So good to see you working w/such dogs again Will, I've missed you.
Such a beautiful dog, the best breed in my apinion
I'm glad he found a home. 💜
What an absolutely beautiful GSD.
He looks so happy to be worked , I think it reminded him of his days with his former owner. I hope you can help find him a good home.
Such a special boy. Shame so people overlook these dogs. I had to say goodbye to my Belgian Shepherd 2 months ago, utterly destroyed me. These types of breeds are so loyal. He'd be a perfect little buddy.
This really touched my heart. I would love to have him on my farm. My GSD's are working line. My wife would not be able to handle my girls if something happened to me. Damn this episode broke my heart. Shed a few tears for the old boy. Cheers from Dover Tennessee friends
Beautiful work, and what a stunning dog!
He's awesome - beautiful dog. I hope an experienced home steps up for Zac. He knows so much already. He will bring someone with the right knowledge of how to live with a working high drive dog a lot of pleasure.
Perhaps a small township police department, an airport security, or even a veteran returning from service could be a good fit.
Ah an American has entered the chat
If I was in the UK,I would adopt Zac in a heartbeat! He's beautiful. I am working with his twin here in Utah, a retired police k9 with ptsd. He has completely bonded with his human but has also developed separation anxiety with her and she loves him but carries too much fear and anxiety herself because she has created in her mind that being a police k9, he must be aggressive and unapproachable. Great video, I hope Zac has a new forever home.
What a majestic dog, I'm sure the original owner was a great owner.
so happy to see you working a working line gsd! 🖤🐺 and what a absolute beaut!
He is magnificent! He will make someone a fantastic canine companion!
What an absolutely gorgeous beastie!!! So so glad to hear he found a home!!
Would take him in a heartbeat if you were closer to the US. Hopefully he finds the right working home.
This guy is absolutely stunning hope he gets the home he deserves
He's beautiful! 8 might be too old for protection sports, but he would be a wonderful dog for someone who wants to do Rally obedience or nose work sports. With proper exercise, leadership, and mental challenges his grumpiness that was mentioned will most likely go away. I wish I had room for another dog...
Woooow what a beautifull dog and what a great temperament!! 😍 Not terrifying at all hahaha that guy just need a purpose and he will be the bestest boy! DAMN I hope he found a great home and a dedicated owner!
Dam I’d take him in a heart beat I have five acres in Australia I own a 2 Swiss White Shepherds I work mum and son twice a day ! Brilliant lines and he was so excited about working agin ! 💕🇦🇺
Love your videos but please come back and tell your subscribers how the cases you feature are getting on-especially this one!
Why do people say
If I could I would?
That pisses me off
Just shut up...
I was thinking the same. I list of credentials and then a ‘but’... let’s be honest, this is more dog than most people could handle. I do hope he finds the right home though, he’s an absolute gem.
Great Dog nothing wrong with him. Working Gsd need to move they like vigorous activity
If I was allowed another dog I would have him .as being a ex dog handler .
Oh my god he is so beautiful and that intense stare which everyone is so scared of but is a purely brilliant GSD thing is a wonderful thing . He is I cannot find the words . Please please get him a home , have you or anyone know the working shepherd club then maybe they can help . I have lived with GSDs all my life and he is so perfect , obviously from what I see but I’m biased . ❤️🐾👍
I am so glad he got adopted, he is absolutely beautiful!
As an ex police dog handler watching this boy was a joy. I worked a beautiful black GSD bitch who was very high drive. I would have taken this beautiful boy in heartbeat if I didn't now have a big softie GSD and a very young grandchild. This boy deserves someone who'll simulate him and love him. Please please keep us updated with how the rehoming process goes. It might also be worth contacting local police dog sections as often they have people willing to take on high drive retired police dogs so they may have someone who could help home this baby.
Phenomenal dog, a credit to his late owner
I wonder if who ever adopted him can give us an update ? How is he doing….
You are a top fella for the work you do helping these dogs.
What a good boy 🥲 I wish him the best. Thank you for showing the world how great he is!
God. I’m in Arizona and I’d love to have him. What an awesome guy. I will share this tho. I do have friends in UK
Thank you s very much for helping this wonderful dog Zach. This is just great that you can check him out for good temperament and help him get a new forever home.
I'd take him in a heartbeat if I still lived in Texas. I had a black GSD for 12 years on 5 acres. Lots of exercise playing seek & find, ball chasing and all kinds of fun stuff. Even taught her to leave the chickens alone. Watching her tear across the yard running at full speed just for fun and scattering chickens along the way was a hilarious thing and I know she loved hearing them fuss at her when she did that.
What a magnificent GSD, im so glad to read that he was adopted. It's amazing how quickly he picked back up on his training, this dog has everything anyone could want from a gsd. Good luck to the new owner and to this big beautiful, intelligent, much deserving boy.
I have 10 Black East European shepherds.5 males 6 females.. Beautiful, i gave my life up for these dogs..Hope he gets a lovely home...One of my males got neutered last week. When i went back 40 minutes later to collect him, all i could hear outside the vet was him howling for me none stop..😂♥️
Can't find a home? If I didn't have a dog, I would be all over this, doing whatever I needed to do to get this dog!
Will what an amazing boy!!! Please keep us posted on if he gets adopted
Lesson here: make provisions for your dog should anything happen to you, beautiful dog, wish you would have him
Awesome working German Shepherd! Whope he find a new and appropriate home.
Brill vid. Good job big man ?
Just because he’s a working line GSD does not mean he is more prone to resource guarding than any other dog. Keeping on repeating that in your video suggests it is.
Awesome dog ! So glad he's been adopted.
Wish there was more than just a like button, absolutely great example of an amazing dog stuck in a bad situation through no fault of his or anyone elses fault
There is. It's called the share button.
@@Flippokid haha true, never really looked into how RUclips analytics works to see how much each like/share help
Dang!! He is amazing!! If he was in the US I know someone who breeds and trains working line GSD’s who would take him in a heartbeat💕.
Just unreal. And to have all his paperwork is even more amazing.
Question: have you contacted his breeder?? He may take him back and rehome him. Many quality breeders such as his would not hesitate to take back their puppy.
Looks like 4yo!!!!
Zac is a 💎 in the ruff
Great episode Will. I am curious what lines and Breeder he came from. My Boy passed April 3rd 2024. This is him on my profile pic. Old East German working lines. Lived 13 and a Half years.
I grew up with German Shepherds, 3 by the time I moved out. Only once did one ever growl at me, he was at the bottom of the long garage and I came in calling him. Pretty soon after that they found a brain tumour.
What a fantastic dog to find for a working dog. Shame his owner passed. I worry as my Collie is complex and I don't know any trainers that would understand her here in the U.K. As it stands if anything happens to me she goes to Border Collie Rescue : ( I would love to find a dog like this. Hope he finds a great home.
OMG awesome dog.
I hope he finds a good forever home
Hes also whining and jumping because youre giving him tons of commands and waving around. He just needs a command, like "SIT"....then a reward. Not "SIT YEAH GOOD SIT YESSS GOOD". You dont need all this and it only adds excitement and confusion.
I have 2 all black female working line GSDs. One is a Czech working line and the other is EastbGerman. They're both really wonderful
