The firefighters don't deal with minefields every day ... Those are the military men who defuse bombs and nowadays they use robots to do it. In place of the paramedic I would have done the same. The dear child was wrong to go to the minefield.
@@lexi219 When you live in an area, you know there are places you can safely go and places you can't. Near my house there was a place you couldn't enter, because the people who lived there were particularly violent, they had weapons and potentially belonged to some criminal organization, (not all those who lived there were criminals, some lived there because they were social housing, often assigned to foreign people, let's clarify this). I knew it from an early age. In the neighborhood it was known of shootings and stabbings that took place in that place, and that more often than not, not even the police entered it. (I don't live in the US, and our police forces aren't heavily armed, like military). So to say they were oblivious to the potential danger of that place I find relatively hard to believe.

@@Xelltrixthis can't be true. A paramedic isn't a doctor. Their jobs involve danger, a shittone of it. They're literally a part of the EMERGENCY Medical Services. How many emergencies don't involve danger??? It's part of the job. If someone isn't willing to do that, nothing is wrong with them, just maybe they aren't in the right career In most cases, the paramedic wouldn't be allowed to go in if he was alone, but there was someone to guide him through. The other option was letting the kid die and that is most definitely not the selected option for ANY paramedic or EMS. That's usually a last last LAST resort when they've already done everything they can.
Tbh TK is much better as firefighter than paramedic. Captain Vega always does the interesting part and the other two don't get to do anything. At least here he had something to do

As much as he doesnt wanna lose his life, he also has to be able to live it after. My goodness the new series is a let down. And the Tarlos storyline is the only thing going for the show, and it’s like the network have told the writers to stop writing Tarlos scenes. Rubbish.
Exactly. Losing interest and it's getting harder to keep up with the series. The father getting back with the ex and the middle-aged couple becoming parents again is now the main storyline. If the storyline doesn't improve soon, will have to find something else to watch on Monday nights. It's a big yawn and a letdown so far ... especially after all the hype.
