It's always good to help someone out if you can. We found a big rock in the field & we were out marking it so we wouldn't hit it with anything. We were just going to wait until after harvest & have somebody remove it. While we were marking a neighbor happened to drive by in his backhoe. He swung right in the approach & offered to dig it out. We said sure & he dug it out & smoothed the ground back up & hauled it to the rock pile. When we asked what he wanted for doing it he said don't worry about it, I might need some help one day. That's what I like about the farm community. Thanks for the video.
Always tend to have a few helping moments throughout the year. Last year I helped neighbor pull out his stuck sprayer out of the mud, and this year the same guy provided a little bit of corn seed since I ran out with only 2 acres left. Another one this year was had someone do a little bit of protilling for us on a couple small sloughs since he was in the field next to ours. Seems like one way or another you repay back the favor in the future. It helps when it's neighbors that won't try to "take advantage" of the situation... at least for us there's a couple of them that you never ask for anything or they will charge a fortune.

The world can be a much better place with attitudes like yours.

Great awesome video. I do that neighbourly thing too all the time, I call us farmers mad scientists trying new things
Nice job. Stay safe!

Does the fertilizer cart create any compaction on the seed rows, or is it dispersed in a way where it doesn’t affect a seed row?
Been there
