Used to be played in the disco I went to as a 17 to 19 year old (no id necessary then, if you looked old enough that was OK. Oh the freedom of the 70s). This was 1970 or 71 I think. A great dance record.
I have an excellent copy of this tune on 45RPM. Found it at a local Goodwill. But I won't post it up here due to You Tube and thier policies, I have rippped a copy to my computer for the playlist. A lot of music is getting lost in the name of progress. Keep Rockin' Peace!
I always loved this but only have it on vinyl in the loft so haven't heard it for a long time. Was it on the B side of Sabre Dance? Anyway thanks very much for posting. It was a treat.
Great B side - underplayed. An all time favourite.
dave edmunds, top,top bloke, a rock, and roll legion
Just got the "I Hear You Knocking" 45. I flipped it over, and heard this gem. Outstanding!
The same by me but today.
Loving it! I've not heard this in decades. It used to be a favorite b side to slip on the jukebox. As rare as hens teeth in the digital age.
Awesome! Thank you! I have the 45 with "I Hear You Knocking" on A side. :) Very much appreciated.
Es verdad, también lo tengo en 45. Esos son los dos temas que trae el single.
Me too😎
Thank you, never dreamed i'd hear this song again. Many beautiful memorys come up.

Big favourite in the clubs and on the juke box. B-side of 'I hear you knocking'.
This was the B to I" hear you knocking " and in time I preferred it.

Back in the 70s, LOADS of platform shoes thudding on the floor while doing "the dance" for this! Memories!
What a great tribute to Bill Black's combo. Dave captures there groove real well
Used Black Bill to/for my gymnastic boys i the 70ties. It's a easy rythme...and ROCKS.....
