Hands down the best RSD. Ik Rashad doesn't put too much weight into it but... As 1 of the 3 black MK fans, Rashad was the reason I got into MMA. Other fans may not understand but it feels "real" when you see someone that looks like you doing it. Thank you Rashad 🙏🏿
Long time fan of Rashad. I remember watching him thinking no one could beat him after that rampage fight. INCREDIBLE INTERVIEW, and its truly beautiful to see how you are still doing so well after a legendary career
When rashad talked about everything being ok, it was always ok. This really struck me, as it's a mindset I taught myself to have about every aspect of life. It really has helped me just be happier, because it's ok or as we say in Ireland, it's grand
This was super entertaining. Chuck was one of my favorite fighters when I first got into the sport. Watching Rashad beat Chuck and watching his season of TUF with Rampage was what made me a fan of his. Every time y'all get together with Rashad it's a treat for us fans.
The chemistry between you guys was awesome. Rashad seems a super nice guy though I'd liked him to explain more about the mentality of the fighter, how they think positive and negative wise, etc.
Hell yeah Rashad. Thank you for trying your best to describe such a personal experience. I feel like sometimes people bring that up to him like it’s some funny thing about doing psychedelics but it’s a life changing serious journey.
Rashad is like the Jamie Foxx of MMA, by which I mean he can do it all: Fight, Mentor, Coach, Analyze, Introspect, reminisce, talk business, talk shit, impressions... Plus he's a grounded, cool AF dude; huge respect
I haven't done the drug he mentioned but I think psychedelic experiences are always unique to the person, their perception and just unique trip each time you do it. I have experienced things he mentioned but it didn't have this life changing feeling exactly. Maybe ayahuasca is harder than what I've done but his experience didn't sound too far off
The Phil Davis victory always stood out to me as a career defining moment, since it was built as the passing of the torch.. And Rashad absolutely dominated him
You are absolutely the man Gary!!! Genuine @ it's finest and super glad you run with the Hoonigan crew. Keep being you sir and wish you nothing but success moving forward! Thank you for all the entertainment you provide.
I'm Asian, Muslim and from England and remember like yesterday as a kid watching Rashad on TV on TUF and rooted for him thinking he was Muslim lol He got me into taking up MMA as a career.
Rashad's 5meo story was very well done. Twas a shame Brain kinda stepped in and talked about his own experience because it seemed as if Rashad had more to say in that moment.
Psychedelics are great, one time I was trippin on too much acid and I was staring at a fire pit and the fire pit turned into a mini world with little people and buildings, that was 2 years ago and it's such an experience to remember. would love to try out the psilocybin mushrooms next, just don't know where to get them, so hard to come by
It's hard to believe I was 12 years old when he fought Brad Imes at the TUF finale. Not sure why my parents were letting me watch MMA, but I'm glad they did. Rashad was a tank in his prime.
been 3 years since I tried DMT, can't find a plug anywhere in my area. Back then, We used one of those vaporizers with the big bags. The first time I didn't do enough and I just seen shapes and colours. But the second time I managed to get another hit in before I got the light headed. I remember floating above the country side flying and then all of a sudden I zoomed down into a deer and went right inside of it and I was the veins and the blood and flowing through this deers body. It was very strange lol
Luke Thomas is such a great interviewer. Especially when you have someone to compare it to and I feel like a lot of the podcast that we see today especially ones who are turning into huge RUclipsrs don’t know how to interview they keep bringing in their own life experiences when they have to understand that they are interviewer not the interviewee
Taking mental health seriously leads to this, not everyone is going to turn into Evans but it will only help elevate you to be a better human not just for the benefit of yourself but others as well.
Amazing episode. What an ambassador for MMA. Hate to say it but Brian Campbell needs to refine his interview technique. He interrupted Rashad so many times. He also interrupted Luke a lot too. Please work on that. Sorry but its true.
Rashad just set the bar. What an episode.
For sure, this is hands down the best RDS for me, followed by the Craig RDS... keep em coming MK crew!
He absolutely did. God damn.
Rashad is such a homie, will always try to laugh even when BC joke fails to hit
The friend we all need
I love BC but sometimes he really needs to learn when he should stfu
Love listening to Rashad reflect on his career. Dude is a real legend and HOF.
Rashad has to be one of the only fighters whose mental health has improved after their fight career has ended.
That’s a fact
Weed and shrooms baby
@@TonyKalashnikov please never forget to kiss the toad
True! Never thought about it like that. Love post fighting career Rashad.
Bisping also
Thank you Luke for hyping this up. It did not disappoint.
man this is gold.. I don’t know what else to say. And this dude Rashad is elevated in my eyes with every appearance.. keep them coming, guys
Love the chemistry between Rashad and the MC Crew.
This was powerful af, mad respect to rashad!!!!
One of my favorite episodes already!

This RSD should go to the hall of fame of RSDs!
Sugar Rashad & Mindenhall are official MK members, IMO.. Keep bringing those two back!
Rashad is such a good interview, an open book that is at peace with his fighting career. Dude is awesome
50:01 Rashad's mother's classic impression. Love it, lol.
Rashad is so great. Love this guy.
Also his impressions are SO good
Luke was right. This was absolutely must see. Hands down the best RSD! Bravo!
So glad we had Luke to ask the kinds of questions people on the fence need first hand answers for.
Long time fan of Rashad. I remember watching him thinking no one could beat him after that rampage fight. INCREDIBLE INTERVIEW, and its truly beautiful to see how you are still doing so well after a legendary career
I remember the ufc game finally came out and I think he was 13-0 and one of the highest rated character in the game lol
@@brendondowdy5651 Dude YES haha, I played every UFC game so far, I remember that
Rashad is a savant of self-realization and the martial way. Superb interview, gentlemen. 🙏🏿☯️
This is why this is the best MMA duo. They deliver above the analysis. You guys are the best. P.S. BC and Luke should lick the toad no Kizzy!
Best RSD yet!! This was a seriously great interview ❤ hope the new gen know about Rashad!
Wow…I’m speechless less than 10 minutes in. Rashad is the MAN!
Thank you MK!
The goat! Luke n Rashad too
This truly is one of the best RSD
What a great episode. Thanks guys!!

Always been a huge fan of Rashad

@Angela Greene I’m my own plug
Hearing Rashad and BC talk about their self realization was touching. Rashad seems like a real one. Would love to see him on more often.
Blows my mind how you're able to combine humour with nuanced insights, glad the algorythyms are in your favour again. 🙌
Rashad is like the Jamie Foxx of MMA, by which I mean he can do it all: Fight, Mentor, Coach, Analyze, Introspect, reminisce, talk business, talk shit, impressions... Plus he's a grounded, cool AF dude; huge respect
Super good episode guys! Rashad's awesome.

Damn this really was a great episode
This was incredible! RSD on FIRE🔥
I can't stress enough how much I enjoyed this. Great job all involved!
Big Fan of Rashad thanks for posting this. He is a solid role model and example of growth
Love the change he made. Always was a fan (Best walk out music ever) but the way he grew in life is even more impressive than the way he fought.
Love your work ethic BeeSee and Loog.
Keep working on it and you may just end up producing something as good as the food trugg diaries b
Rashad is so fucking cool, Also a sick analyst.
Thank you Rashad, best interview from an ex ufc fighter I've seen. Well done brother
well done boys! giving Rashad a small space in time to sum up his iconic life in mma. epic
Based on that randy couture story, there really should be a fictional show about an mna fighter showing scenes like that. Brilliant story. ❤❤
Yes, giving me goose bumps. He's amazing. He is so smart and a great speaker.
I haven't done the drug he mentioned but I think psychedelic experiences are always unique to the person, their perception and just unique trip each time you do it. If they ever try to make a live action Tekken film again, Rashad needs to play Leroy.
