If your stuck where you can’t move the heli I’ve always found that you can help mitigate this problem by pushing the cyclic in the direction of the wind to decrease the angle of attack of the advancing blade. As it spools up where the disk is more controllable slowly return the cyclic back to neutral.
Hello Paul, Great video. I have a question as Left PIC in Helis and Gyros. Is there a mast offset for Solo Pilot operations in the mast? Since CCW American rotation direction the most lift is generated on the advancing blade side. Thanks for time! Cheers!
I’m so thankful you took the time to make these videos. I’m still learning from you after you’re gone.
Blue skies and tailwinds my friend.
Just heard about your last flight...! Blue sky Paul!
Thank you Paul for a flight we once took to Dexter for lunch. 💫✨️💫✨️
G'Day Paul Just a little observation on Bo105 and Bk117 rotor are turning left,,! .Also rigid head they are less subject to blade flex!
Guy frm Canada
Tail winds brother! RIP
