The wings seem to reference angels or fallen angels, right? Or is there another myth or legend with magical beings with wings? Pixies tend to be Tinkerbell like, with butterfly wings. Harpies have wings instead of arms not in addition. Dark creatures like vampires tend to have bat like or dragon like wings if they have them.
Basically they were pixies born with out wings. One member wa contacted by a witch and bring her wings. So they have to find there wings and bring them to the witch. Otherwise they'll be cursed
I'm extremely interested in how they expand on their concept. I love the voices of their rappers. I enjoyed the sound of the song sice it fit the concept well, but I can understand your concerns with the visuals leaving such a strong impression. We'll see what happens next. Great choice, I love the horror theme they're going for and the song is good! I felt it like a mix between Dreamcatcher and Aespa, it's stronger than Aespa but not rock centered like Dreamcatcher and also it has a horror concept that both Aespa and Dreamcatcher went ofr visually but here it's incorporated in the song too, like a stronger Girls by Nature.
They are total of 6 member right, I imagined when I heard PIXY their song will be like a golden pixy dust but it turned out to be a black pixy dust , I love their concept

Yes Sera promoting new girl group! Interesting group. I really love the dark concept! The song however is a bit weird for me. Seems all over the place. I do wish the chorus drop harder. The favorite is the elegant build up before the chorus. I would definitely keep an eye on this group though. Pixies are like fairies so I wonder if they will go for a more bright fantasy fairy sound once they get their wings 🤔

It’s really cool that their stage presence is more reliant on charisma and their choreo isn’t overly concerned with being “pretty” and limiting them because they have to look beautiful. Reminds me of Dreamcatcher!
They are so cool omg, I rarely get impressed by rookie groups nowadays but PIXY is so far the best rookie girl group for me rn. I really want them to get more popular but I think they are gonna be like dreamcatcher x loona. They remind me of those two groups and a hint of blackpink in the mv, their presence is so good it gave me chills, especially during that scream part. My bias is Ella! I love the duality of this song and the group they are both light and dark, much like dreamcatcher. They took the concept made popular by g-idle is queendom, darker pop, and made it their own. Let's hope the next release is just as good.

First, Sera, I love you more every time I’m privileged to watch your brain work. IMHO, this video is a declaration of allegiance to the...uh...I don’t know....Nu-K-Gothic genre. Just in the part you rewatched, I saw references to crown hand gestures from (G)I-dle’s Lion, Gahyeon falling from Dreamcatcher’s Goodnight, Sua trapped in vines from Goodnight, the vines burning, the tree from so many DC videos, at the end I think it’s a Lion (G)I-dle) roar and it looks like Jiu biting Yoohyeon’s neck. There’s the butterflies covering Jiu in Fly High, the What “W” hand sign and isn’t there a G-idle song where Minnie whispers some spell in Thai at the beginning? I swear ever frame of this video is a reference to some other girl groups dance move or video. It’s like they are saying these are our influences and the company we want to keep.
I thought their was the growl at the end bcuz of the the members corruption (the flightless bird eaten by the predator, but now they are one. Im relating this cuz of the whole plot thing they going on they were just forest girlies with no wings till they gave in to the evil witch lady to be able to get wings at the price of there souls or smthn

People are saying Dreamcatcher, ofc, but I think that's only in aesthetics and the use of lore... Song wise it is far more in the 'goth crush' area of G-Idle's Oh My God. Nothing new. Many kpop idols nowadays can do all three. ITZY, G Idle, IZONE, TRI.BE, Aespa. But it is nice to see idols that specialize well in one area. Most of the time idols that are good in all three still aren’t on the highest level compared to someone that only focuses on vocals or only focuses on dance, rap etc.
