I didn’t really think about my curly hair or try to wear it down until I started watching your videos. I enjoy the research you do and love scientific Mel! My mom just did braids and pigtails when I was younger, and I followed it with damaging high hair buns. You make me feel like it’s not too late to get a great hair routine going. I’m 32 and finally feel like Im getting to know my hair, and am getting more confident with it. I shared your channel with my twin sister and she is loving it as well. This is an interesting method. Most tutorials I've seen (mostly on kinky/coily natural hair) people start from the ends and roll their hair up into the rod (which you did towards the end of the video lol). This also helps the ends stick to the flexi rods. Perhaps another method for someone to try. I've never had the patience to do flexi or perm rods on my own hair (do you see my afro in my picture?!), but always love the results when I see other folks do it. And Amanda's hair turned out great!
