It looks to me like you’ve lost weight and you’re possibly a size smaller than you think. I love the blue coat. My favourite were the cargo trousers and spotty blouse. I love that colour combination. I know the trousers were too big, but some neater ones in that colour would be ideal.
Great haul Caroline! I actually think the cargo trousers looked great, not too baggy at all - though maybe too long. I think if you wore them more casually with white trainers and a jumper they would perhaps work better. The jumper was lovely, definitely a keeper and also the long cardi. Not sure about the coat, but it was a lovely colour. ❤

Hi,loved you in the cargo trousers and spotty blouse,really suited you.I think the shorter length makes your legs look longer,I have short legs and long body ,the shorter top didn’t make your tummy look bigger.I love your honesty doing these hauls and wish I could get my make up look as good as yours!❤️

Oooh Debenhams……I really miss them too…..they were always my ‘go to’ in Bristol, even before M&S! I know they still have an online presence but theres nothing like the selection and I loved browsing in store! I like the blue coat Caroline and will be interested if sizing down works for you. I love love the long cardigan too! Xx
Love the blue coat - and hope you can get it in a smaller size. I would rethink the grey jeans - they look very flattering and think it's just a matter of getting used to a wider thigh - or to look for a slim straight cut jean. I think the long cardi is just too long - makes it look very dated , and the cargo pants just OK. The pjs are nice - pretty colors. Think the polka dot blouse color is a little draining, but the shape is nice.
Loved the Tu haul today, what great value! I too am struggling with the move away from skinny jeans and have ordered a pair of straight leg jeans. Have you considered a haul of jeans from different stores so that we can compare? Loved those pyjamas!

Personally I think the jeans looked great the wider leg and length is much more flattering than the tapered trousers but definitely need to size down xx
I love sainsburys clothes, I bought so many jumpers and cardigans in Autumn when they first came out! Cardigan is lovely, might have to go and fine one! Great haul x
Love the blouse and longline cardy. They really look good. I liked the pocket trousers but agree they are too long. The blue coat is lovely. The colour really suits you. I agree again though swop for a size smaller. The PJ's are cool. I wasn't sure about the jumper. I think it would look nicer with black trousers. The grey jeans weren't right. Some good picks there xx

A very mixed bag the coat and trousers you definitely need a smaller size glad you like the jumper and blouse and the pjs were lovely and look so much more expensive, everything was great value❤️👍🏻

Hi Caroline. For me it was the spotty blouse and the longline cardi (with black jeans would be fab). PJs are stunning. Pity I don’t wear PJs 😂😂 The blue coat is far too big on you a smaller size would be much more flattering I think. If you like jeans/trousers round your waist/tum area just have the length shortened to you preferred length - find a good seamstress if you’re not happy to do it yourself btw. Cargo trousers should be worn with trainers or converse type shoes Please keep doing your thing because we all benefit from your experience Thank you. 🙋🏼🏴

Love the long cardi and the PJs! The coat too is a very useful length I think and a beautiful colour now that Spring isn’t too far away. I feel that to get away with a loose/baggy top and baggy trousers you need to be a 6’ size 8 model 😂! Not something I’d venture to wear but we’re all different. TU do seem to be having some nice stock, the dress you were wearing is really nice too. I liked it when you did the haul and even looked to see if it was possible to get it sent to me.

I have a similar leg length to you and moving away from skinny jeans is hard. You should try LEVI 454 or 314 shaping straight leg, they are great for us.
Hi Caroline love the TU Haul. I'm shorter than yourself and for the sake of a good look I have to take trousers up. If you don't like taking things perhaps you could get someone to do it for you. Those cargo trousers looked great.
Hi Caroline. Great little haul despite not everything being to your liking. Annoying that the skirt style didn't match the image on the website as I really liked the print. I've never looked at Tu clothing but I was really impressed with the prices so going to check them out. 😊
By degrees we all are influenced to try a different silhouette. Toe in water with wider legs for me too but still clinging to a neater shape, despite there being more balance in the wider when weight is round the middle.

I love the lightness and comfort of leggings and jeggings but I do prefer the look of a looser trouser. So glad to see they are coming back in. The jeans, I think, fit nicely, though they could be hemmed up a bit. That long cardigan looks so cozy. I prefer buttons on cardigans, as I think I would be constantly pulling it around me. The blue coat beautiful but you need to size down loved the jumper and the top with spots the grey jeans I thought were lovely but maybe you shld size down in those also ,you might change ur mind on them . If you have a problem with trousers been to long I wld suggest you go to next they do a petite rang for short people I go there for all my jeans . I think you may of mentioned an issue with sizing when trying Yours Clothing but i thought I'd mention that they do some nice longline cardigans, i have a black /white speckled one with balloon sleeves & a khaki one that is the same design, perfect with a lightweight scarf for going out if your not a fan of coats & I'm not.......as for the clothes today i think the blouse & cardigan are nice, wasn't a fan generally of the coat tbh i think it looks a bit ageing tbh
Hi Caroline im 5 foot in height and i can not find much clothing ( dresses,trousers. Skirts ) that fit me .I find petite is not right for my body shape and if i buy petite i always have to go up 2 sizes . 2024 hopes for me was to learn how to alter my own clothes instead of buying clothes for 25 pounds then paying 12 or more pounds to get them altered . Caroline Asda have the wide leg cargo trousers in khaki and black for 18 pound. I bought them in early december but had to take about a foot of the bottom . Maybe not as good quality as tu. Loved looking at the new clothes in at Tu. That coat was a fabulous colour but as you say too big, why do they make arms on everything only fit for orangutan’s? There was a lot you tried on that you mentioned you would need to downsize, you will have to get your head around the fact that your slimmer now 😀. A great problem to have! Yes , definitely keep that blouse it’s got useful written all over it, the pyjamas looked lush. I miss Debenhams with a passion 😢!

I realize you mentioned about going down a size, but I think you're not realizing how much weight you've actually lost, & I would go down two sizes!! Hi Linda - I enjoy capsule wardrobe videos but I've never had the inclination to try it myself, I get bored with clothes very quickly, I'm more of a maximalist where clothes are concerned!!
If you got the coat in a smaller size I would get the sleeves shortened would make it look so much more expensive. I’m only 5ft 2 myself with short arms so am always shortening sleeves and legs so that things fit so much better. Having said that recently bought and ordered various trousers from m & s - what I used to get in a 12 regular I’m now bought in a 14 short ( even though I now weigh less!) and one pair I ordered in 14 sort were at least 6 inches too long. Please standardise sizes and lengths and it makes what is already a stressful experience, at least for me, even more so.
I’m really sick of the longer length trend in trousers. I’ve lost a big amount of weight and as I go down in size the legs get longer. I picked up some cords m and s in a charity shop and the length is perfect. I love boot cut but there just too long and they look odd taken up. I dislike the mum jeans on me so skinny it is. Tu has some great own brands. But. Jeans it’s Tesco for me or danni minogue. I agree with another comment maybe try a down size. Love the top and cardigan both will be. Useful
I too think you have lost weight. The jacket is a gorgeous colour but too big as you have already said. I like the blouse on you and i like the cargo trousers, shame they are too long. I am a jeggings person lol. The pjs are lovely shame about the length.xx
Because I don't sew well enough to do it myself, and the cost of having alterations done to the type of clothing I buy (cheap and cheerful) isn't worth it for me, I'd end up paying at least half the price again that the item cost me in the first place, to have it altered.

I would try cuffing the hem of the jeans and wearing them as more of an ankle grazer length.

Can I ask why the length is such a problem when they could be taken up quite easily
Because I don't sew well enough to do it myself, and the cost of having alterations done to the type of clothing I buy (cheap and cheerful) isn't worth it for me, I'd end up paying at least half the price again that the item cost me in the first place, to have it altered.
Green pants are nice just too long definitely wide leg you are judging way to harsh also top and sweater nice look modern

Not a fan of the blue coat. The sleeves make it look sloppy on you. Love the color though. The print on the jumper is not very flattering.
