You are either an amazing game developer and give people what they did not even know they wanted or you are a humble developer and ask people what they want. DICE decided they are amazing without any track record to back it up.
Creative works must be tested out before launching it, they didn't understand that when the game was born, they didn't understand it even now. I'm really curious to know if the genius behind the visual recoil choice has ever played a BF before and his/her performance as well.

Season 7 feels like they took 5 months off working on the game and forgot how to use their software by the time they got back. Like when you stop playing a certain game for a time and have to re-learn the controls when you finally get back to it.

I agree with you. I also strongly believe they are testing a lot of bullshit because the game is pretty dead. The visual recoil is pure nonsense, the "new" map is bad, the new weapons don't add anything remarkable to the game. I hope the next BF will be decently executed but my hopes are really low.
EA is forcing them to work on it to avoid negative press like with bf5. This game would have been cancelled after season 4 if that weren’t the case

i just watched a video where shroud was talking about how dice had hired like 60 to 100 content creators to test 2042 before it released and he said they all gave feedback that dice disregarded completely so, there you go. they wasted money on all those people to test their game and give feedback that they didnt even listen to and that is the same old story for dice and why their games are failing.

the client side vs server side hit reg difference in your last clip was the best I've EVER seen in this game. Out of every channel I watch and personally playing... That blows my mind, and it really shouldn't.
Of course I knew the problems with 2042 and dice, but while watching this video I got hit with a major reality bomb. I havent played battlefield for too long, started at bf4. But the way Dice took 6 months to deliver what is barley an okay update with the same amount of weapons and gadgets with no vault weapons really just hit me.

I spoke to their support recently regarding my bug which i couldn't even open the game, it was stuck on the "starting the game" through their EA app (i play on steam) had this bug for over +4 days (season start i could play, went to bed, got up, tried to get in and couldn't) i went on a bit of a rant with the support person, saying they don't know what they're doing, they're a bunch of amaturs, they only listen to themselves and put in unnecessary updates that nobody in the community asked for, of course i shouldn't take my anger out on the person behind that screen (got nothing to do with it) support did ask me if i wanted to get this to the developers and i said yes, and i wanted to get into actual contact with them, but couldn't (no shit)
I had to reinstall my PC back to factory new (ONLY THIS GAME HAD THIS PROBLEM, IT'S EVERY SEASON START, SINCE SEASON 4) Asked the person why this hasn't been dealt with whatsoever, and the support just closed the chat, i believe i made that person angry, but, they didn't do shit, had to figure this out myself, they're actually the most useless mfs on this planet..
I had to do it too when the game launched, the support said it was a bugged windows update. The most funny thing is that I tested the game and stopped playing it until season 3 or 4.
Avancys visual recoil was pretty hilarious tho. Let it stay like that Dice... We deserve it for playing this broken game.

Another thing that broke after the update is the third person reticle on ground vehicles, it’s miss aligned with where the actual turret is
Visual recoil was absolutely necessary, especially with the color palette and lighting the previous recoil system made most guns just feel plastic. I think the biggest issue which wasn't entirely fixed with the new recoil is the desync between guns' visual recoil and the actual recoil which makes just makes some guns feel really weird.

A thing that worries me the most is current level of performance at DICE. Right now it gives no basis to think that DICE know what are they doing but let us hope that team responsible for the next game is actually completely separate from poeople working on 2042. I mean if the next game is approached similar to 2042s current approach regarding design and quality then we can be sure it wont be good.
the problem here is if you get Charlie flag , from there you can control delta flag as there is a 10 feet drop going to D you can have snipers and the meta weapon destroying d until you get it.
Unless it depends who gets bravo to counter attack , they need to spread and put D somewhere else i noticed on first day there a problem.
you also have headglitches there making it very hard to go up from D to C. you will be constantly shot down at from the headglitches
conq on the new map ends way too fast, I remember I got in a game and lost in 4 minutes and 3 seconds. once you get spawn trapped there's no going back, we need transport vehicles on conq. the RAM works if the driver is competent and uses the spawn beacon but even then most of your team seems to not under what the spawn beacon is, so they decide to spawn at base. an attack heli would be good if your team has someone in the 30mm cannon, this will mitigate all the people camping on the rooves which also lowers the amount of angles you can get shot from(and why have cram on the map with only 1 air vehicle like wtf).
now onto the head glitches, I've found a way to somewhat counter them, the answer is smoke BUT that's if you survive long enough to smoke. my problem with the smoke rn is the UBGL smoke rounds aren't available on all the assault rifles even when they can fit on most minus like the am40, some guns have the UBGL available but the smoke rounds just aren't available like the AK5C(why?). now what if I don't want to use an assault rifle and the gun I'm using doesn't have an UBGL? I could go for the smoke launcher on medic or assault but the smoke on the smoke launcher doesn't explode fast enough for the smoke to stay in an elevated position.

There was no mention of the Casper drone nerf (drone can't EMP). I guess it do doesn't affect many players, but it did affect me and my playstyle. I guess the good thing is it took me out of my comfort zone and forced me to play other specialists. Did anyone really think that vehicles were at a disadvantage? DICE, a good driver isn't too worried about drone EMPs.

If you’re referring to the recoil changes then it was me. I love that change. People can no longer beam me for far away with ease. You just have to burst fire and have good aim

I haven’t really had an issue as the US…whichever tank sprints directly to C and captures will probably win.
I believe the best equalizer is take out the vehicles, I spent every match last night just hunting vehicles and there was a good back and forth going on.

They increase the tickets because on average games last 14 minutes but the games still last 14 minutes or less
this map is made for teamwork I find. you need a good squad
they shoud test the game before they launch it live after every updates
I have played Haven extensively over the past few days and my games average between 16 - 20 minutes. Personally I am happy with the map.
The issue with the map is heavy on camping buildings. Secondly how does the sp 500 not one shot kill at point blank but we have the auto shot gun one shot killing from so far away.
1.Fire nade 1shoots you in smoke if direct impact
2.pondhawk explodes when lending softy / callin in a pondhawk air drop takes 70%of hp on impact with ground
3.c5 explodes in hands of the enemy while they hold it and u shoot them
4. My bug - sundance wingsuit has no input cant control it even a lil bit
5. Game black screen while in party got worse 2/4 players get in the game rest have blackscreen
6. Tank aps lets projetiles trough mostly Lis missiles
7.My main account got perma banned FOR Party chat coments about the team.... That werent actualy that bad and No 1 could read them.......... Hateful conduct joke company (just a warrning for every one DONT TYPE IN GAME).....

Honesty I was ready to get back into this. I started again around a month ago. Thought seasons 7 a good time to do it. Won’t play it until another fix . Not a great start for me . I got to level 65 on season 6

Visual recoil definately sux. I hope they tone it down. I dont think theyll remove it. Maybe DICE wanted to look more like BF4 because there was visual recoil & later they locked the reticle to the screen center. But the visual recoil stays while in 2042 weapons feel unrealistically static & not much going on. IMO thats what they try to do. They also watch COD.
It's pretty depressing to see how far the franchise has fallen since BF1. I only started enjoying BF5 when they added the Pacific maps. After that it's all been downhill. They don't care about Battlefield. They care about Apex. They care about catching up with COD and Fortnite. They care about skins and microtransactions and emptying people's wallets. The creativity and passion that made Battlefield great is long gone. I don't have great hope for the next Battlefield being a "return to roots" and restoring some glory either. A shame really....

I have been playing this game since day one, i was one of those that preordered this shit. For the first time i cant bring myself to even try this season just because of visual recoil i see, its fucking disgusting. I will probably just do weekly mission vs bots, and that would be it.
