Nick stop hate Jok about mvp's. He is the best player in last 4,5 years in league for a mille. It isnt Jok fault that his team is bismo. Murray is a bum, and he should be thanking Jok on all the money he made. Only player that are close to Jok is Luka, but Luka was not that effitent as Jok.
Lets do this imagine Jok in any other team instead of mvp calibre players. Lets swap they teams and you would see that Jok improve all of they teams much better than they improve Denver.

You guys from media made the narrative that Denver have the best starting five in the game and that's laughable. No all stars beside Jokic, no all defensive guy, everyone is lost when Jokic is off the court. They're a group of solid players carried hard by one guy for years now.

Hilarious to me that Nick is making the case for folks to slow their role on proclamations of greatness. I agree but, bro! do you hear yourself?! Basically made your career doing that.
The biggest problem for Denver are the contracts of Jamal and Porter. They are overpaid and now Denver has no any flexibility in salary cap. Both are max players but in reality Jamal is 25 mil guy at best and porter is 18-22 mil. That's 20 mil difference right there. Zeke, Reggie and Jordan are dispensable for another 12 mil, more than enough for the great 6th man and couple of solid bench players
Porter Jr is a bad contract 🤣. All organizations have at least a bad contract.

Idk if I agree with that last part. 2020 Giannis is probably the closest. Jokic is just fantastic on offense. Peak 2013 Lebron was all time MVP caliber, and DPOY caliber. Giannis' 2020 is up there cause he actually won both. Jokic is never close to both.

Giannis struggles to create in the half court in 2020 he still had playmaking flaws and as a one v one defender he wasn’t great he was a better help side defender. Other than rim protection (which he’s not good at)Jokic is average to outstanding at everything else
