Makes me wonder why so many people spend £400-£500 a month financing an A Class or 1 series when you can build something like this yourself for less than a years finance cost

@@poolio_69 or some people actually prefer something with a comfier, more refined ride with a nicer interior, doesn’t leave you with a banging headache after every journey and isn’t a death trap waiting to breakdown 😂 I’m sure it’s fun but you grow out of wanting to nail it everywhere
@@Ron_Swanson I wasnt referring to a stripped out corsa. For example I prefer my E46 M3 over a newer M140i, Golf R etc.... the latter are far faster, and very tuneable. But the M3 is a far better drivers car. Whilst still a comfortable, nice place to be. Each to their own though ofcourse. Its the finance deals that I think swing it for most too.

Grew up around fast Opel's in South Africa. Have graduated to faster cars but nothing comes close to the raw feeling of no weight and big power. GSI Superboss and CD Monza were my weapons. 325Is or Vr6 only ever saw the rear once you were past 80 mph.
Absolutely love ‘overengined’ cars. I had a Clio RS172 with heaps of work done with about 230hp and it was just deadly. I love that feeling like the engine is intimidating 😂

That little thing is a weapon, I have a manual e46 m3 and still to this day I find it such a great balance even 18yrs on, it can handle and use all of its power all of the time. I had a 400bhp Sierra Cosworth and if not in a straight line it wasn’t useful at all.
