Clear, concise, no filler. My dude you have the tools to have a really great channel keep it up! I know you mentioned a second video for this, I hope you still plan on doing it!
A tip that has provided immense help for me with expected/wasted interest when developing and releasing products, is to *ALWAYS* go to Page 3/4 (3rd) in the Advanced tab when picking what features to include for minimal interest, and *ALWAYS* click "Auto-balance". If you have a good range of features chosen, this will - more often than not - boost Expected interest to 100%, with absolute minimal wasted interest. Never skip this step, and I'm sure it'll be of great help to you as well (: TL;DR - Always Auto-balance features! It helps a lot. EDIT: Just saw this channel only has 2.29K subscribers, with 8.4K views on this video.. Wow. I'm surprised more people haven't subscribed, but I'm really enjoying the channel so far. Awesome tutorial, with really helpful tips and tricks! I've been playing this game since 2019-ish and completed it in hard-mode numerous times, but I still learnt something new from this video. Keep up the good work (:
Genuinely a helpful tutorial, I used to hire way too many people to make one bad piece of software, and i'd usually end up in debt. Now with this video, i could actually make money.
Really happy to find your channel. I was finding really hard to learn the basics of this game and would usually end bankrupt after the first project. Now I understand what the game expects from you in the beginning. Thanks for the tutorial.
Just to reiterate, anytime you're matching the same views as the number subscribers you have, or completely eclipsing the number of subscribers you have in views, you're killing it
Helped a bunch, I didn’t realize that you had to update while doing support. I believe the older version support would just slowly fix the bugs overtime
I picked this game up way back in Alpha 7 or 8 and so much has changed since I last played so this video was a good refresher with the new mechanics back when I was playing printing was easy and was the best way to make cash to do what ever you wanted
You can put a minifridge in and it doesn't make nearly as much noise as the vending machine. Also, always put a coffee maker in. It'll increase the productivity of everyone who has access to it.
I did basically exactly what you did but with a different founder and got 500K users and I didn't know what to do. I just saved and decide to start over.
@@ChucksIndieGalaxy You definitely should!! I've only watched this video from your channel, but as far as I can tell, you have a very soothing kind of gameplay. It's enjoyable, helpful and informational. Thank you for the awesome tutorial and I look forward to seeing a possible series release (:
A little advice from a guy with more than 300 hours in this game. Always make your main character a designer with high creativity. It really matters, especially on higher difficulties. Yes, it has some disadvantages but pros way higher than cons. It's really hard to find decent lead designer during you playthrough and your sales heavily rely on product creativity.
@@ChucksIndieGalaxy No; You Inventory it all and it's at the new building when you arrive!! Select the entire building Right-click, select the chair Icon, right-click-inventory
@@ChucksIndieGalaxy selects the whole building, right click and select all furniture in it and Inventory it for your move. You will save a ton and just replace it in your new build...
I do not get a pop-up like you did, when I start my development. Anyone know why? You're clearly running a different version to now, looking at the recommended staff section, but shouldn't there be a pop-up window to track this? Or was the project management added in-between? My lead designer has 3 stars in automation, but when I try to add her as a project manager in the design document, it says I have no project tasks. If I try to add a project directly in the project management screen, it claims I have no one qualified to lead a project.
I have the issue where I played this game for a while back in 2017-2019, but the game has gotten so much more complex since then that trying to play it now feels really weird and like I don't know what I'm doing
Lmao same.. back then you just made a random game and became a multimillionaire overnight. I enjoyed the endless money to build buildings and teams but, since I started playing again a few days ago, it feels way more rewarding now

Great explanation, a part 2 with the assembly and other stuff would be nice 👍

One tip: Go to manage teams and add on a couple hours to the work day of your core team when it's just your starting character.
'I have a watch' trait (along with all the other neutrals) does have a key use, it lets you roll with only 1 negative trait at the cost of a positive.
Thanks man this really helped. I just got the game but had to stop playing it because I got overwhelmed and didn't know what to do.

Replay value on this game is great! So many ways to play that you might not need another game for awhile! 😀
Very helpful, I go months without playing and I swear everything changes. Also, this is really investing, you should make a part 2 ig
Loved this! I learned a lot. Wouldn't mind seeing a part 2 building upon this.
Regardless, top a tier video for sure.
Definetly learned some things that i didnt know about this game yet, so thanks for the helpful Video 👍.
Looking forward to part 2 😁.
This was excellent hope to see more content of Software Inc from you!

Glad it helped!

Is there a reason you didn't update the tech level with the bug fixes?
Just a heads up that the numbers you were getting for views on your videos were crushing it for your channel size, you should keep going if you can
Dude I could watch you do a full playthrough. Can you :)
It's not planned right now but I'll consider it for a future series :)
