yeah i trained with some top10 kickboxing guys in the netherlands for a bit and the difference in performance but also in work ethics was astounding. First to come, last to stop, all exercises technically correct, no cutting corners anywhere. Just excellence through and through
i take note of some exercises, look pretty good. outside his skills, his strength training is not hard and everyone can try, the hard part is you have to do it everyday to maintain it.
I looked at the plates , its 100kg (2 X5kg (see in the photo), 2 X 10kg and 1 X 20kg (can be seen in the photo) on either side) + 20kg for the olympic barbell...so 120KG ...and he only did one rep....that's not much lol. Guys smaller than me at gym doing 10 reps of these.
@@bijosn Was thinking the same but it is alright because he isn't a lifter, he's a fighter, he needs to take care of his joints and back keeping it as less risky as he can. It is a fine excercise to develop a little more explosivness when he goes up, on a fight that can be translated as when he's going for the takedown.
@@InsiJuice I am smaller than Islam and i can do 10 reps with 90kg + olympic bar. I am 5,7 and weight 80kg...but if i had to fight i would probably cut down to about bantam weight or featherweight at the most. That said, Islam would finish me in 10 seconds in the cage.

Nop, there's a 45 lb plate, two 25's and two 10's on each side, which make 115 lb per side + the weight of the olimpic bar (45 lbs) makes a total of 275 lb =124 kg. Is not that much but he doesn't need to lift too much, this is an exercise focus on explosivness when coming up. Meaning, more explosive takedowns.

It's similar to Floyd Mayweather conditioning. Just old school running, push ups, weighted punches, sit ups etc. You can't completely discount modern sports sciences but the old school training still definitely has a place.
These exercises you see for the bodybuilders and powerliftiers out these challenge the athletes heart and conditioning they look easy even to me but when I did them for several repetition and almost died
People don’t realize the power of having nothing. In some of these countries the only thing they have is to train hard every day every year for one shot ! Like the Dominican Republican pumping out pro base ball players. Argentina/Mexico pumping out football players. Inner city pumping out pro basketball players. Much respect to all of them !
Gonna look into getting in a boxing school soon after testing the waters at kickboxing this training looks real nice and functional nothing fancy or over the top.
If we see the training its just a simple training ..easy then conor training but,they dont forget allah ..that make them more powerfull and more superB condition ...they didnt forget to pray..didnt forget that allah give everything..alhamdulillah..allah gave us averything when we dont forget allah...alhamdulillah..

So brother it is good to do that but not something bad so Brother dont question somebody's love for their God. They and God know it best what is in Heart on men. I did competitive bodybuilng, but I also do some kickboxing as passion. When the skinny dudes hit my legs with their shin, it hurts like hell, lol. Skinny people strength
